I did a search on the account name and there were no tweets/retweets saying "hey follow this cool nick fren" or whatever you feel they would say. It was non-organic outside influenced follows. They all followed the account as they always do (and how I've always suspected), Nick puts out a message probably on telegram or other service and they all start following. So there's really no other way all these accounts would be following this account unless the message was sent. So really you can't even say "they were tricked by someone on the outside!"
