Plagued Moth is a horror YouTuber with no charisma but plenty of edge. While he dabbles in true crime, his best-attended content consists of commentary on and reactions to gore clips and mixtapes, cartel murder videos, and zoosadist content. The quality of his commentary is poor. The tone of his reactions whiplashes between blasé amusement and mild concern. His fandom is mainly children.
Plagued Moth spends his time trying to build his online following by fucking around on Twitter, TikTok, and Reddit, streaming on Twitch, pestering more popular and likable Youtubers, bragging about his subscriber count and patreon income while e-begging for more, touting his woke allyship, and putting up a front of wholesomeness as a husband and father while being a creepy coomer.
Plagued Moth is massively triggered by the "haters" as is his wife, Andrea. Moth has a particular hate boner for Reddit, who he blames for everything while still running his own fan subreddit and being extremely present on the platform.
Plagued Moth was first sighted by Beauty Parlor denizens in the thread Nexpo/YT Horror Channels - Do they all suck, where his content was initially deemed consumable but lacking. As his channel grew, Plagued Moth revealed himself to be a cringey, insufferably annoying edgelord with stupid hair and he became an object of near-constant derision. For those that didn't watch, the video shows Moth reacting to poorly blurred CCTV footage of a man working with a Lathe machine, gets his jacket sleeve stuck in the machine and proceeds to have his body spin around, violently getting torn apart by the lathe ending in a co-worker seeing the bloody gorey mess, freaking out then running away.
The title of the video itself "From Man to Mist to Legend" and Moth's reaction to the accident is down right disrespectful.
I get that he's meant to be Mr Edgy Manbut the glorification and fetishism of gore makes him look like a creep.
2020: BEGINNINGS
Plagued Moth first started making youtube content regularly in October 2020, beginning with Weird Web Ep-1 on October 11. For the rest of 2020 he would continue to upload episodes of Weird Web and try out various other types of content including Moth Reads Creepypasta, Moth Does ASMR, and dalliances into popular Youtube drama topics like Trisha Paytas and Nikocado Avocado.
Plagued Moth wasted no time in revealing his pathetic clout-chasing side, and began begging for senpai Mutahar from SomeOrdinaryGamers to notice him mere days after posting his first "Weird Web" video.
His first video to break 100k viewership was This Russian Streamer Killed His Pregnant Girlfriend For $1000 LIVE on December 6.
Noticing this windfall, Moth would go on to make three more videos about Stas Reeflay to chase viewership numbers.
2021: THE "GORE GOD"
Plagued Moth kicked off 2020 by continuing to tweet at Muta from January 2nd-16th
On January 17 2021 Plagued Moth posted his first video that would hit over 1M views:
However, the satisfaction of a job well done faded quickly and in March 2021 Plagued Moth abandoned his Mutahar love quest and instead began tweeting at youtuber Wendigoon
On March 24 Plagued Moth posts Dafu Love | Dark Web Video Connected to Scully? and in the comments mentions being "ghosted" by both SomeOrdinaryGamers and Wendigoon:
Noticing that Wendigoon's channel had been buoyed by covering iceberg charts, Plagued Moth set out to create an attraction sign in the form of NSFL Iceberg | Gore & Lost Media on March 27
From the video description:
Plagued Moth would spend April and early May making two more iceberg videos: The Official NSFL Iceberg on April 12, and The Disturbing Killers Iceberg (a collaboration with a youtuber named Knight Crime) on April 28. He would also continue tweeting at Wendingoon and SomeOrdinaryGamers
On May 23 2021 Plagued Moth would finally get a taste of his senpai by cameoing in Wendigoon's video A director sent us "The Most Disturbing Movie Ever Made" ft. Mista GG & Plagued Moth
In May 2021, he would also create a second channel, The Spectre Project, and there he would upload a (now unlisted) video The Fall of Chris Chan | Chris Chan Allegations of Abuse
From Summer into Fall, Plagued Moth would really start to hit his stride, uploading more reactions to hurtcore videos such as 1 Girl 99 Stomps | Counting With Moth, cartel murder videos like The Infamous Cartel Chainsaw Video, his first video on Amber Alert | The Most Disturbing Mixtape I've Seen.
Notably, at this point he would also begin branching out into zoosadism. On July 15 he posts Old No. 7 | A Real Darkweb Video
In August Plagued Moth's original Patreon account is deleted, leading to Discord leaks in the Beauty Parlor thread.

It was 5 a.m., Mutahar was quite bored. He decided to boot up his computer and go onto the good ol dank web. He decided to try out his very own VPN, mutavpn.
He clicked around, nothing was new. Uncreative args, weird fetish sites, and other typical deep web shiz.
He quickly scrolled down. Nothing at all. He should go back to sleep, but something actually caught his eye for once.
It was a hitman site.
He let out a loud, wheezy laugh. Maybe I can finally get rid of that motorcycle guy, Muta thought, I'm surprised he hasn't passed by yet, only when I'm recording.
The chubby Indian (lmao) clicked on the site, and it had a pretty lowkey design. It reminded him of something very metal.
"As long as you pay me 20 bitcoin, I will kill anyone for you, (apart from children and animals) and I will get the job done quickly and quietly." Muta read off. He knew it was bullshit, but it was always funny to read these sites because they were always, always honey pots.
But, for the sake of the plot, Muta wasn't thinking straight and he clicked on the payment option.
He paid the said assassin 20 bitcoin and before he knew it, he heard a knock on his door.
"Oh shit," he exclaimed, but in Hindu. He got up from his chair, almost knocking down his G-Fuel tower, and hesitantly opened the door.
There stood a man with long, silver dreadlocks and sporting a police outfit. The man held up his badge.
"Stop, this is the police and we are going to arrest your--"
The police officer gasped. "Mutahar?!"
Moth could feel his tiny, shriveled up, black heart shatter into pieces. He would never fall for a honey pot site. This is so damn sad.
Uh oh. Muta could see the hurt on his face. He had to think of something quickly!
"Ah, well, Officer Moth, this was a trap! I just wanted you to come to my home. I was going to ask you out, but I didn't know how to." The other let out his iconic laugh.
Moth gasped again, speechless.
"Are you still on duty?" Mutahar asked, leaning against the door frame.
"Oh, no. Not really." Moth answered. "Well, I'd like to get to know you, Moth."
Moth's eyes sparkled like an anime character.
"I would love to, I love you Mutahar sama"
