I feel like Nick's 'it wasn't me' story would have been more persuasive if he hadn't decided to make up a scapegoat and an elaborate story of what happened. As it is, this seems to be more of an attempt to give his closest cultists a Three Minutes Hate at Broseph, even though they probably know what happened and were following the account. It might also imply that he is now feeling uncomfortable with the Groyper stance on Waukesha.
Suggesting that the Groyper followers were mostly due to some non-Groyper influence is also misleading. This series of followers reacts to basically every Nick account, and this is clearly circulated among them rather than hundreds of Groypers relying on KF or w/e to find Nick accounts. Nick craves attention, so he's not going to rely on the kindness of strangers on this matter. The followers joined quickly, did not express doubt about the account, and did not require an invitation or even a 'find my frens' Tweet from the account.
