if youre taking a cartoon like the owl house, for example, a large part of its fans are not in fandom: the little kids, the people that watch occasionally, the people that do love the show but dont feel the need to discuss it, etc...

the people in fandom are the ones that want to discuss things beyond, make theories, make transformative works, and of course they are going to focus the things the show doesnt focus on. whats the point in discussing and arguing about things set in stone in the series canon?

I've personally always made an effort to stress the fact that fandoms aren't any one thing. They're large and diverse groups. They're not exclusively defined by the casual fans or the hardcore fans. What necklace is that? It looks like something a kid would do during craft time to gift on Mothers Day.

One of the eyes is way too big, even too big for the anime-ish style Mikaila is going for. The mouth is drawn in such a way that almost looks like it's going up the nose. The upper lip's color is too darl that doesn't look like natural color and if it was lipstick, why just the upper lip.

The braid is put very awkwardly. It really looks like a piece of turd that has the same color as the hair.

My favorite part of the puppets debut is when at the very end of the video one eye moves and the other one just…doesn’t. it’s so cross eyed in fact there are a couple times where only the right eye will move
