From what I hear they have armed security in malls and other public places too, plus people have to show the contents of their bags when they go enter a public building. Yeah, it's extra hassle but it works.

Of course good luck inconveniencing a liberal, they'd rather shit on everyone's rights than spend an extra 30 seconds showing the content of their purse at the mall.

This is unironically what #winning looks like. The feeling is that the Democrats are the party of statism and doing nothing because everything's fine, and Republicans are the party of actually doing stuff whether you disagree with them or not on how to do it. Even r/politics will admit that 2021/2022 Republicans at least actually follow through with their promises. That's something no sane Democrat who isn't terminally online will say.

A major contributor to mass shootings is the media. They go into orgasmic coverage of every mass shooting, they are so desperate for content. Gives shooters their 15 minutes of fame, maybe more. What if mass shootings were never covered in the media? Takes away a platform for possible future shooters.

Actually in gun homicides, adjusted for pop. America doesn't even crack the top ten, even including gang shootings. It's just the media has focused on it so much, peoples perception has been altered.

In suicides, America sits around the middle. For perspective. South Korea is in the top ten at number 4. While strangely, the countries you'd think would have some of the highest suicide rates, are the lowest. Such as Jordan, Syria, and the Philippines.

she never ruled on the decision, her predecessor Justice Blackmun wrote that decision. Her regret was that it was poorly decided and based on faulty legal reasoning.

In terms of 2a, it depends on how they choose to follow the heller decision. alito, Thomas and gorsuch will probably follow its logic and shoot down restrictive state gun laws, but hard to tell with Roberts, Barrett, and Kavanaugh.

Northern VA just had its 3rd Measles scare in 6 months. The afghans we imported from that clusterfuck last summer were housed in Fairfax and we have been having positive cases ever since.

Remember measles was essentially eliminated from the USA around 2000, but the third world shitholes keep bringing it back.

Parents don’t want to deal with that on top of the liberal school system. Nobody does. Just one example of a potential reason.
