So again Phil is financially tight. He got fucked $60 for both streams today and he's fucking worried.

"What happened to all the Elden Ring tips?" Who the fuck knows.

Says there are thousands of assholes who are lying on him. Hates making these videos. Has no credit. Doesn't say what e needs help with. Gifted Subs not helping and needs immediate support....

Phil....

Maybe you're not hitting the tips goal because the goals suck? Maybe your not getting support because you add no value to the game outside of just saying whats going on on-screen? Maybe you need to realize you have 5 or 6 whales that fund your life?

Maybe you need to save your money first once?

Nothing he could do dude. Not a thing he could do.

Anyways, obviously this thought is pretty old hat, but this streaming thing (combined with his parentally over-involved upbringing) has led to such an odd form of learned helplessness, where when Phil thinks "I sure wish I had more money to do xy and z" the only way he knows how to do it is through begging, and if he doesn't successfully beg well god, what is he supposed to do? There is no way to have more money when he needs it. He has to hit the goal every day, if he doesn't he has failed. Has he lost his edge? Has he done something wrong? Why won't they give me the money? Do they hate me?

He's not even trying to negotiate or pleading to make any sort of deal on how to improve tip donations. He is not doing anything except saying "just give me fuckin money please" with no actual excuse these days. No multiplayer, no other game to switch out, no god damn real reason like an actual new release (there are plenty) to purchase and play.

Can't come up with even a stupid ass excuse like a broken vacuum or showerhead. This is incredible.

Honestly he could just restream his old ass CT videos where he points the camera at the screen and plays that soundbite every hour and he would probably do better than putting all this energy into being low-effort as possible.

At least past Phil played videogames at a faster pace than what we have nowadays. Shit man, he's already replaying shit from the past so he already has the go ahead since we all love those "retro" playthroughs.

Here's an idea Phil. Create a random playlist of all your old videos, point your VHS camera at it and have a second channel livestream that 24/7. Call it Retro Replays or some shit. Lazy as fuck so you'll make a fortune.

Here is a not monetary tip Phil: stop wasting money and you can live very comfortably with several 50$ tips per stream. And wasn't his Youtube payday a few days ago? Oh right I forgot: that money is gone.

Oh an him ebegging ast a time like this: could it be that he is getting competition when it comes to begging? As some pointed out the economy is sliding further downhill and more and more stuff gets scarce. So I would assume that charities are also starting their "begging rounds" with a way more charitable goal (like help the poor children or people who are homeless). So maybe his whales are now donating more to real charity thjen to him. that and they must feel the burn in thewir pockets as well.
