They nerfed all the inazuma enemies dmg between world level 3 and 6, they probably realized specter hp was more annoying. I feel this is a case of Mihoyo preemptively making inazuma easier for all the eventual 3.0 newcomers. I expect the sumeru enemies to powercreep all the previous enemies again.

Forgot to mention but 2.8 quality of life change: You'll be able to reinstall and remove past useless stuff.

New bow information is up. Holy hell at that crit damage, along with 20% damage boost whenever enemies are around.

Barbra, Noelle, Yanfei on the character banners make it a hell of a lot easier to skip Yelan and Xaio.

Nope. Next patch is 2.8 so it should take at least 3 months for next country and grass.

BTW BTW the servers are open kiwis! I'm really doubting now if i should get yelan and if i should try my luck at the weapon banner again (i'm at 66 pity). Gonna test for a bit and report later.

EDIT: I logged on my brother account (he doesnt play in months) to get the new patch free gems and used it on the weapon and used those on the weapon banner to get enough stardust to buy paimon monthly rolls. I get jade spear after 2 rolls. you're welcome bro, i just wasted all my luck on your account.

Edit: Teapot is working again, if you didnt use your spice bonus you can use them now.

edit³: I got skyward atlas on the weapon banner. rolled 40 more and got 2 eye of painception, a razor and a sayu. No sac sword. farewell yelan, i cant afford more or i might not have enough for kazuha. This one was pretty shitty for me, good luck yall.

I happened to notice that my primos were approaching the funny meme number, so I planned it out that I would have exactly 69420 for Yelan. 2022-05-30 20_31_19-Genshin Impact - Copy.png
One 10-pull later and...I have Yelan and still have 69420 primos. I knew I was at pity, but I'm really glad I won the 50/50 because these 4 stars are trash.

Even though I can afford it, I'm really iffy on rolling for her weapon. I already have a Jade spear and don't really want another one.

Worst case, I can likely either grab a Blackcliff/Royal Bow from Shop Rotations, or give her one of the 4* Bows I have just laying around.

I’ve done dumber setups after all…

The bow needs to be pretty close to get damage bonus.

I dont recommend it if you have jade spear already, it's a good spear but even if you have a second spear user they can hold fav, the catch or dragon's bane instead.

Also, your guys luck convinced me to say fuck it and roll for 40 on yelan and now i got keqing AGAIN! It couldnt even be Jean, it HAD to be keqing didnt it?!

Her C2 is absolute garbage too, 50% chance of generating 1 particle every 5 seconds IF you normal attack someone electrified? Meanwhile Jean's C2 gives 15% atk spd AND move spd essentially for free. Screw this game, i'm gonna dump all the money and books on keqing instead!

Yelan's special charge, skill and burst scale with HP so you can ignore attack completely. Hell, the 3* bow slingshot that gives 31% crit rate is better on her than most 5* bows which is pretty funny (just like HoD was the best sword on albedo). If you cant burst off cd just give her favonius tho.

Looks like I am late to the lockdown gems giveaway. Oh well.

Been thinking about giving away my account(s). Even if they added skip for the story, I don't think I will want them back.
First account is balanced with more characters and weapons and the other has less loot but slightly more focused on constellations.

I still can't believe how dirty they did Keqing. She was so hype around launch, and now she's a joke. I was so excited to get her back when I was really in need of a good DPS. I eventually dumped her in favor of Ningguang for one of my abyss teams, and I never regretted it. Her animations and character design look great, but she's just not great to play.

Yeah, I noticed her first passive gives her a decent chunk of HP just for having different Elements in a team comp.

Least Artifact grinding wise, HP% is a pretty common Main Stat

I still feel she's a great early-game carry, but once you start trying to run domains it feels like everything is designed to make Keqing carries excessively difficult. After you've increased your world level a couple times Keqing just can't keep up anymore and gets outscaled hard by pretty much every other DPS character. I like her and her kit but I never use her anymore because Ayaka is pretty much Keqing with no teleport, more damage and a useful burst in a better element.

If we get some platformer event/area, then I might break her out again because her teleport is quite handy for quickly gaining elevation.

I actually think the game is more balanced than people give credit and there is a lot of thought put into things, like how characters are clearly balanced around Venti synergy (klee bombs are not pulled, yanfei charge cant reach his burst, ayato attack up there, etc.)

But keqing is so hilariously bad it really feels like something went wrong. Her kit is functional and fun in a vaacum but her scaling is garbage, her cons are meme worthy (also force her into electrocharge) and being electro is a huge hindrance. It's like she was balanced as 4* character but at the last minute mihoyo thought she was cute enough to be a 5* so they made her that.

Like, for all the bashing Diluc gets, at least he's a fairly balanced and well designed character. People say he got powercreeped but note how every pyro dps after him trades freedom for power by losing something if they switch out. And yeah Xiangling is broken sure but that's only because bennet is broken and that's another story.

Her best hope is praying that dendro/electro(/hydro) reaction comp is somehow good enough to make her at least viable. Even if it is, it would probably make Raiden even stronger so people would play her instead anyway...

Am I missing something or did they make a F2P Bow (the new event) mission require AR40? If I'm not missing something, then goddammit what the fuck is wrong with Mihoyo? Who thought it's a nice idea to bring an event actually worth to give a shit about, after a month of fucking nothing (understandably so), & put a high level restriction lock on it.

I'm AR35 with around 415k leftover AR exp. If I do the Ascension battle, I'd say I could I'd say I could be around WL5 with that, like around AR45 without trying.

They added a skip button for prerequisite stuff, so you should be able to still do it.
