Who the hell needs hundreds of dollars a day for "day to day stuff"? Man, his whole survival rides on his chat having no idea about the value of money or how people decide to prioritize spending and budgeting.
Everybody here of course knows the following already, but this is really the best and most illustrative math to show how absurd his monetary expectations and management of that money is. Not that he makes 100k+ a year or 10k+ a month, but looking at it on a daily basis because of how relatable that context is to most people.
Him having a number of 'slow' streams where he 'barely hits the Tier 1 tip goal' being enough for him to sound all of these alarms tells people that he needs more than $100 a day for day to day living expenses (he repeatedly says that money is his 'liquidity' and that his YT check is what pays the monthly bills).
The idea that two people and a cat can have daily living expenses that exceed $100 (and this is all the time, for years, not just some short-term, emergency need) has only one plausible, reasonable explanation: an addiction of some kind. If you knew NOTHING about his gacha spending or thought it was just lies made up by his haters, looking at this math cannot have any other plausible explanation.
For all his past cries of wolf, he seems to me to now be genuinely panicked and maybe finally starting to see the reality of how few potential people there are who would look at his situation and draw any kind of sympathetic or charitable conclusion. You can see it in the past year with how much harder he's been trying to bleed the very small number of people he currently has.
He seemed to be very lucky for awhile in that every time a whale left, another seemed to take their place, but think about how much his begging has escalated and how much more blatant and gross it's become since those days. I really don't think there's anybody new that's ever going to come along, see the kinds of expectations and demands he has (in addition to his his toxic attitude, complete lockdown of every avenue of feedback, etc) and not immediately walk away. He's stuck with needing to bleed as much as he can out of who he has now.
This is just really such an incredibly pathetic admission. Not the sympathetic kind of pathetic like seeing a crippled animal struggle, but the kind that exhibits so little shame that it disgusts you.
How a guy who constantly boasts about his mature, adult life can sit there and tell his audience that he sat down with his wife, discussed how bad their financial situation is, and told her that there was no current option, or any kind of future plan, to remedy it outside of dumping the problem on that same audience with the expectation that THEY'LL get him out of it is remarkable. Only the most deluded type of narcissist could make this kind of public admission without feeling incredible shame, and he very clearly doesn't. This is a very broken individual.
