So idk if anyone else is watching Callis stream right now but she just had a classic Mori Moment and let it slip that her friend got her a present "for her birthday" then immediately realized what she'd done and made up a brief story to "explain" the slip lol

So, our reaper recently got another ring on her trunk?

Was about to post that lmao. She totally let her real birthday slip. So sometime this week. Also, if she hadn't said anything, no one would have noticed. She could have just corrected herself with "late birthay present" and that's all.

And yeah, Kiara's new song was fine. Maybe it will grow on me, but I didn't think it was anything special, despite liking the genre.

Agreed, makes the friends visit make a bit more sense too. With the amount of slips she's had and considering how low the well-off white rapping mall goth population probably is in Japan I imagine Mr. Bean could figure her out without too much effort by now lol

Considering she's playing a home improvement themed game and is already on a roll how much y'all wanna bet she ends up blabbing the color of her apartment building or something

V-Tuber birthdays have always been really fucking weird to me because a person has to sit and celebrate a random day of the year and accept $$$'s off people who are also aware that it isn't their real birthday.

It's a big slip from Calli but one I'm honestly surprised hasn't shown up often. If I was a corpo V-Tuber I'd be pushing to just have it be my real birthday.

Local Nijisanji guru! Did you ever find out who she was prior? I don't understand how she became extremely popular. What's the appeal that got JP viewers hooked? Was showing how insides the key to getting flocking fans? Will Nina come home one day not drunk? Will Selen go a full stream without laughing?!

I'm curious what caused all this to happen. Surely, a VTuber letting people see their insides and having a cutesy phrase isn't enough to garner this much attention right?
Are people just waiting for the punchline or when she'll reveal that she's just a joke and basically fucks off? If that was the original plan, Nijisanji isn't letting her go anytime soon.

I think she geniunely plays the character well. Though, big hitters like Korone and Pekora being on break probably helps a bit.

There's a lot going on with her that has massaged the balls of the Japanese fans in exactly the right way. I'm keeping an eye on twitter and am waiting to see how hard things fall off after the first week (if at all).

I'll have more to say on it then. For now, I can confidently say that I don't think there's 112K people watching Part 3 of a series waiting for a punchline, and I think that if there is a punchline (which I'm becoming less convinced there is), we are going to witness a shitstorm of unprecedented scale.
