Bye-bye Bushes (or as Nancy Reagan called them, ‘the Shrubs’). The Cheneys will be the next American political dynasty to fall. I welcome the day when no one with the surname ‘Bush’ or ‘Cheney’ holds any political office in this country, from President all the way down to local comptroller. It may be fleeting time to relish, since one of their descendants could always throw their hat in the ring somewhere.

It’s amazing how irrelevant the Cheneys have become, considering how close to the button Dick was for 8 years (and that’s not even counting his prior decades in Washington). We were all reminded of this when they dragged the carcass of Dick Cheney out of the attic and over to Capitol Hill for the 1-year observance of January 6. They were the only 2 GOP members there- not even Kinzinger showed. Whatever seriousness optics/reaction they were hoping to generate through having him show his face for the first time in years there was not achieved. It was just…who the fuck cares?

Thinking about what I remember and not just Googling it because that's gay of course, Cheney and another guy were in a blind on one side of a stand of trees, on the other side of the trees was a dirt road through a field, the guy who got shot was walking along the dirt road and Cheney saw movement and shot at it. Alcohol was involved
