Granted saying she had no access to Internet was a shit excuse when you're living in one of the most wired countries in the world, but you're applying western thinking to the Japanese mindset. The last thing I imagine they would want to do is open up about family matters unless absolutely necessary. The situation has either stabilized, or it's gotten so bad that she can't pretend anymore.

Honestly, that was a good interview. It was entertaining and did give insight to the mindset game developers can have in the industry. Me personally, it just made me think more about how many other people are there like him in the industry and this mindset of holding the players hand and looking down on them at times. Never standing in their shoes and seeing their point of view.

Honestly I was expecting the interview to be a complete shitshow due to the guy being a politisperg but surprisingly it wasn't. I give it a certified Kino stream.

Honestly with the stream she had with Dave, I feel like if management ever lost their current state of mind and just gave her 1 stream with him she could reel back the Z list e-celeb drama and just have a fun stream in some game. This will (likely) never happen though because management seems to be (rightfully) scared of collaborating with these sorts of people (to prevent a whole shitstorm attacking their small company) and also because some very vocal viewers (eg: JL7ten) seem like they absolutely hate the incline she's gotten from "fleshtubers". Either because "I just hate that sort of crowd and watch vtubers to get away from it" or because, and it might be a bit of stretch here, they unironically want to "groom" Pippa and then immediately seethe about her (like they do about every other /here/ vtuber on 4chan) once they're bored and move onto the next /here/tuber.

Having listened to the two Fishman interviews, I get the impression that he's a conservative guy, business-wise. He'd rather have moderate success on a well-trodden path than be a pioneer on a risky venture. I'm starting to lean towards the thinking of what some others have said that he's got a tiger by the tail with Pippa; she's quite successful, but not with a crowd that's a good fit for what Fish probably had in mind when he started the company. And while I don't get the impression that Fish necessarily resents this or wishes he could get rid of Pips, he's also not about to change his company strategy to allow for collabs with blackface lawyers, golden-voiced shitposters, or other Minnesotans, no matter how much she or her audience might clamor for it.

It's too bad, but I guess we shouldn't hold our breath about it changing any time soon. But it's not the end of the world. The rabbit has entertained us all this much given her current limitations and she'll continue to do so. Let's keep our chins up, bnuuy bros.

Honestly speaking, I don't mind this design. It's definitely on the boring side of things but it's still a hell of a lot better than some of the over-designed models I've seen. Plus, he has freedom to add more outfits if he wanted so there's that to look forward to.
