I always wonder if Phil would ever be a react streamer and well, the course is set in GinBrain's head and the direction is laid out too... Just have to guess when it will be full on spergathon combined with absolute dogshit-tier khantent

It was inevitable when Phil adamantly talks about situations such as the Bankruptcy it was clear, not just due to outside influences but his own poor decisions led him there..

I think Phil inevitably does what he does not to ironically provoke trolling, he brings that unto himself, but stuff like react streams because the schtick has lone gone that he was a "gaymer" and a former pro...

Good thing is the reaction market has well and truly flooded the entertainment industry and saturated it even retards like Phil's chat could do it, doesn't necessarily mean they will be successful..

As for the potential content... I either see it as a win on his sheer delivery of being out of touch, or a loss that he will just decide it's not worth the effort and stay back into gaming, as he puts it, it's all about the gaymes naht the person d00d!!

I most of all want to keep politics out of DSP sphere at all times, because let's be honest, no one will really care

If anything, I was kinda expecting for Phil to take a more lazier route of creation now that Reddit has shit on him, at least some normies who don't know him, know well enough

DSP fucked up and didnt record last 30minutes for youtube. I know its sounds crazy when he can just keep footage on youtube after stream but hey...

He either is set in his ways with uploading stuff in parts or he is so paranoid about people making fun of his dumb ass in the chat that he deliberately privates the vod so the chat replay is hidden.

His "100 likes" thing, funnily enough, doesn't work specifically because he hides the stream vod after he's done so all that engagement is essentially gone.

Shit dude it gets even worse for DSP. Another streamer from their group can't even speak or read English (the game does not have a JP option) and she pulled 100k viewers on the last stream of WWE. Literally impossible to stream the game on Youtube though according to Phil.

This is what streaming is about and why his "strategy" of relying on new releases will not work. Streaming at its core is about personality, how well you can entertain an audience regardless of what you have to do that with. They messed around with character creator, aiming to make monstrosities that resemble the crew of hololive, and it helps that they don't take themselves seriously, with many willing to be in on the joke. Phil is the exact opposite, he demands that his audience entertain him, only plays games for the sake of "completing" them and lashes out at any and every slight inconvenience to his day. On top of that he cannot take a joke at his own expense, getting pissy when he's getting insulted all the while he's more than willing to go for low blows, insulting the credibility of everyone else while he's the perfect shill once he decides that the money becomes worth it.

His reliance on "new releases" is his biggest enemy because it ignores the point of streaming. He has no advantages over anyone else: he's always behind people willing to play business and those who are willing to play on different platforms for an advantage. He's hoping that people will watch the sad clown known for leaving the camera on, with 200 viewers playing the new game despite there being much bigger streamers. And then even if you did choose him for whatever reason, you have to deal with a snorting asshole whose chat you can't interact with and who only acknowledges his audience if they give him money or if they say something that gets his heckles up. He makes his own streams nigh unwatchable and wonders why he can't keep any momentum he gets when he gets more viewers than normal.

The funny thing is why other streamers are having an easy time with streaming WWE. They're not trying to play a campaign that relies heavily on copyrighted material, they just fuck around with character creator and have their creations wrestling with their own commentary. His mindset shows how much he doesn't care about games beyond the act of finishing them. He has desire or inclination to fuck around in a game just to see what he can do and in most cases, never bothering to learn any moves not taught by tutorials even exist.

I'm genuinely surprised he doesn't stream gacha. His wins would encourage dents to keep donating to keep him on a streak, and his losses would encourage dents to donate to recoup his losses or to keep playing.

But as I'm typing this I realize that it would involve some way of screen capturing his phone. Which for various reasons he wouldn't do.

But then he'd have to spend money on whatever game he's playing on stream instead of champions. Besides having money to make pulls with on stream would prove that he has money, an open admission of his main begging point being a lie. That and he tries to keep up the illusion of his credibility of parroting all the anti microtransaction talking points whenever he has brought up mobile games.

What's more dumb is that he's had an opportunity to do this before with genshin impact. Hell he was playing shadow of war when the game was at its worst for microtransactions and at the time defended it by using the "it's optional" defence until he hit a brick wall that meant that was intended to be overcome via the lootboxes.

I also got a PS3 camera working and using Nvidia broadcast software using AI you can get a full green screen effects and also remove background sounds such a Aircon and keyboard presses

You're absolutely correct, it's as easy as that. If DSP viewers weren't complete window lickers, they'd realize how easy it is to set up and run a stream that is way better, more automated, and more interactive than Dave's.

All the info is out there, for free, a YouTube video away. And the dude who's business it is to know it would rather cry on Twitter for pity than Google his dumbass issue and resolve it within 5 min.

I don’t know about you but we may be entering a new arc. The way he has been begging lately is extra ordinary; I really think he is really struggling with the consequences of the bankruptcy with no credit. Remember it’s been over two years since the bankruptcy; it’s not a short amount of time. DSP has been recklessly spending more and more while expecting more and more from his audience. I think he may really be in trouble right now, and he will very likely get bailed out this time, but he and his behavior is getting worse and worse as his vices grip him worse and worse. Each iteration of his begging episodes, and his audience bailing him out, will set him back further and further.

He’s been really boring for awhile but there’s definitely been some gold dust recently. Too bad he is playing boring ass games.

It’s not going to be a sudden collapse but he is definitely deteriorating.

I honestly forget where this clip is but there was someone who basically told Phil what his job was as a content creator and he told the guy off by saying he was wrong.

Something along the lines of "ask us questions, entertain us, you're the streamer." I'm pretty sure people remember it but it sums up his mentality. Interaction to him means it's a one way street that the audience can only talk to him about things he's interested in. Meanwhile I can watch someone with about the same audience size as Phil and her chat is much more active because she will ask and talk about the most inane shit. Every time a new person comes in, for example, she asked them if they liked chunky or creamy peanut butter since it spurs a discussion, or she asks her viewers about how clean their rooms are. It's stupid shit but it starts conversation.

Even if Phil's actual life is boring (let's face it most of our lives are boring, including career streamers) it's all about the presentation of that life. The ONLY time I can give Phil any sort of credit is when he discusses food since that is the kind of charismatic energy you need as a streamer...but the problem is he lacks the vocabulary to discuss food in a meaningful way and describes everything as "unique" because of it.

Edit: has anyone gotten into why he plays Champions so much? Like I understand the guy has a crippling gacha addiction but why THAT one? Most gacha games are sexy anime women so that's out but why isn't he playing something like...I dunno, Raid? Suppose we believe he doesn't actually watch wrestling anymore as he says, he would then have no purpose in playing a gacha related to it and could pick one of the dozens of other games to piss his money away on.

Though I can't imagine him playing anything like Azur Lane.
