she wore sandals in public places for how many days, then put on Nader's socks, then shoved her now fully exposed trotters into her own running shoes. She's infested them with those basic funguses that thrive on foot sweat. A healthy person making the mistake of wearing ill fitting, cheap sandals on such an outing would grimace, swear as they PROPERLY cleaned their feet, maybe dabbed on a bit of antibiotic cream & put light bandages or Bandaids on the worst of the blistering & skin irritation & the few days of discomfort would serve as a reminder why you don't wear sketchy footwear on a excursion with a lot of walking & for Chantal, that was a LOT.

MOST people in Chantal's situation, not seeing a doctor or doing the above could expect nasty results... blistering turning to open sores, ulcers, abscesses... pick your poison. Maybe throw in a little MERSA and/or necrotizing fasciitis but I can only roll my eyes at the cockroach luck she's displayed so far. She'll probably get off scot free.
