As soon as you let the internet know that something gets under your skin, there's always going to be someone who will use that to torment you endlessly with it. It's best not to engage in any kind of behavior that will draw the ire of the internet, or especially your fanbase, but when you do, getting worked up about it is just going to draw out the detractors and the trolls.

I'm apparently behind on this, but what the hell did Kurt do? From the other comments I gather it was something he said on one of the other streams, but I almost never watch those. The fact that a group of grown adult lawyers are acting like high schoolers shows that Nick is right to stay as far away from this as possible. I wonder how long it will be until someone gets ass-mad enough over something to threaten a lawsuit.
Basically he was making some "Bad" comments on Legal Bytes Channel. Like for example, paraphrasing, "I hope Camille gets done soon I can only get so hard." and a few others. And some of the prudish didn't like his curse storm after I think Dr. Crazy Therapists cross.

Edit: Also where did this rumor for Legal Bytes and Law and Crime come from?

He was Kurt lol. He went off on that body language guy for spewing his bs, quoted the Archer meme "stop I can only get so erect" during a Camille part, did he debbie down. Was predictable Kurt would find himself in this situation once they started deciding who was or wasn't allowed to sit with them.

I wonder how much, from the beginning, all this was brewing? I said 'probibly no drama' Nick said 'absolutely no drama' but everyone hitching their wagons to bytes' channel for this case still seemed super weird, more so after the non-lawyer TUG left Nick's stream for his own, with no excuses left the regulars still weren't popping on, Branca started coming on thank christ, and then a few newbs, but the old crew were MIA still.
The Law Panel started on nick's channel during Rittenhouse, blew up, and then randomly decided bytes was the center of everything?? I hand waved it in this very thread a few times, but it's pretty clear that some back-channel faggotry was afoot in the creation of all this gay drama that's now coming out.
Extra annoying that Nick denied all leadership in this lawtube shit way back (when he said to use any name BUT 'Lawtube' because it was so gay AND matched with Lawtwitter.) "Grown adults can do whatever they want" Said the man about to create a giant powervacuum so gaping I had to bold the 'cuum'.
Goodriddance to dead weight (lol fat joke due to kurt) I hope the DMs leak and we can sussy out exactly who the karens are. Couldn't even make it a full revolution around the sun before the wheels fell off, good job Lawtube, here's the award for speed running gay drama, add that to your awards site.

I think the reason Bytes became the main Depp channel was because she had been covering it leading up to the actual trial, whereas Nick had done basically zero prep. There was a reason why TUG was on the first few days.

At first I assumed that was happening because LB wasn't as edgy as Nick, but now, given what Nick has recently said, it seems like it's more because he was only inviting a few instead of sending it out to everyone. He admitted having too many people on just ruined it. I think TUG left to do it on his own so he could make the money since Nick doesn't share profits. With TUGs actual involvement with the case to the point of being brought up during testimony, he didn't need the exposure of Nick to help him.

Maybe that's where some of the salt came from? An expectation that nick/everybody would be on for bytes' day streams?

That makes sense, doesn't account for all the fuss, but that could just be up to the players themselves just kinda being that way.

What salt?

From who?

Can Kurt just an-hero already? He's a lawyer in Austin, Texas doing appellate/higher court things so he doesn't have to deal with shit clients and he's still the saddest fucker to ever be on a stream. He cries about EVERYTHING. He cries to NIck about big mean comments in chat or reddit or twitter, he cries when a VIDEO GAME's lawyer logic is bad (ace attorney supposedly "broke him," etc.
What a fat fucking loser. Either grow some balls Kurt and speak for yourself, or fuck yourself honestly. Fucking brings down every stream he's on, NIck's or legalbytes.

The 10k already unsubbed, superchat, and guest changes will allow her to cut out the unbreaded, unruly, further to the right, openly degenerate elements of her audience and focus on the polite centrists and simps. At least some of the Depp v. Heard viewers will stick around and that's good enough.
Is it a problem if she wants to curate her viewerbase? I'd only consider it an issue if she purposefully cut down the group to the kinds of people she wanted and then started crying about not getting enough growth. If you're willing to accept less people watching you in exchange for only having the kind of audience you want to cater to, that's fine. If you want both at the same time, that's when there's an issue for me.
Nick addressed the super special LawTube Rekieta commission.

Can I say I told you so? Because I told you so...
At least Nick can appreciate the fact that he's being trolled, intentionally or unintentionally.

She's not helping that she took down the "apology" video but the beginning of the court stream were she made this a public thing is still there.
So as of now, people can see that, but not any vid of her trying to make it better.

Agreed. I've always thought he was just an angry, bitter little man and nothing has changed that view yet. He could own that and make money from doing rant streams about shit, but not really because it doesn't come across as funny, just whiny.

I agree with nost of this but keep in mind, he's fat, balding(he really should just cut it off), around Nick's age with no wife/gf/kids, and most importantly (I've heard)autistic.

Factoring all that in you can see why he would be a bitter man. Doesn't excuse, just makes it understandable for me.

Have we heard any response from the rest of "lawtube" now that Nick has removed himself from it? Saw Joe did a stream with a bunch of people with a drawing of all of lawtube, didn't watch it though. Is lawtube finally leaving the nest?
