We talk the same lingo and reference pop culture.

Speaking the obvious here, but A Goofy Movie and Goof Troop are the two best things that are the perfect example of endearing. Even if the former received mixed reviews and a sequel that went straight to video, the former in my opinion should have been in the American Film Institute just for being still influential as time moves forward.

The latter on the other hand had the best theme song I’ve ever heard:

I agree with this Goofy kicks ass, and Goof Troop is my number one favorite Disney Afternoon cartoon of all time.

OK, so, Jiminy Cricket looks kind of like his animated version, and then Honest John and Gideon are a realistic fox and cat... and I don't know what Pinocchio's gonna look like. Just like the cartoon or some other godforsaken thing?

The Pauly Shore version will turn out to be better than this.

It looks like in this version it's both boys and girls who get taken to Pleasure Island. On the one hand, I'm glad that someone's finally acknowledging that girls can be bratty little shits just as much as boys can. On the other hand, you just know this is going to create yet more furries - and it kinda makes me wonder whether Zemeckis has some kind of transformation kink going on, considering that his last film was The Witches remake.

I can live with them doing it to the Blue Fairy more than I can some other roles, as her screentime in the story's pretty small. I'm just not sure that "Will Smith's Genie in Drag" is a look that really works for the character.
