Pertaining the iliac-crest augmentation by Korean surgeon, as reported by BBChannel on this post.

Maybe medical Kiwis can help here but it looks like the hip surgery gave him a cavity in his abdomen region. It also can sort of look like there's a tear there somewhere. I'm not sure if there is an amhole desired in his future. He does seem to be AGP oriented instead of HSTS. I'm basing this off his "bottom" bingo thing here.

I cannot see any abnormal cavity (which if filled with air is black on non-contrast CT; if partially filled with fluid there should be a fluid level). The black parts at the front are just the bowels. The levels are way too high for AmHole anyway. What I find curious is that the implanted plates are just that: plates. You can see the two concave plates on the CT at the right side: they are bright white, brighter than the bones. I'm not quite sure what lie in the concave side of the plates: It is definitely not fat, which is very dark on CT. They are slightly more dense than the muscles, can these be blood clots? But then the CTs are taken on the same day of surgery, and new blood clots should be very bright.

All in all I cannot think of anything terribly wrong that can happen with this kind of surgery. The OT sites are subcutaneous, non weight-bearing, and are far away from vital structures. Definitely safer than those ghastly butt augmentation favored by South-American butchers, and I don't know why didn't more surgeons think of it.

Apparently, he likes to go running, biking, and hiking on mountains; and I can only think that this type of surgery will likely end such a hobby in a short time since the dude just had major surgery done to his pelvic region.

If things go well there should not be much impact on such recreations. For pro athletes it is of course another matter.

here's also the possibility of future complications since his doctor put notes about bone disorders including growth as shown here. Meja himself also translated this, which seems to be accurate. He definitely put the doctor's name through a machine translation to get "oil gun" though

I don't think there's been any repositioning of joints (thank goodness). It looks to me like a straight-forward addition of mass to the iliac crest, and ironically this procedure only made his hips and pelvic area look more masculine, not less. Male hips are box-shaped, while female hips are trapezoid-shaped, and by enhancing the iliac crest they made the boxiness more prominent. Utter madness, and counterproductive to his goals.

Thanks for your answers! I was rather curious on thoughts about complications. I guess he'll be back to his hiking without suffering too much. I just thought that any kind of adjustment or additions to the pelvis can really wreck things there, especially for someone who does a lot of outdoors activities.
I'm also glad you brought up the butt-surgeries, that's another reason why I was thinking this would be rather silly to do besides the cost for little change.

I'm not Norwegian, but I am from Scandinavia and speak a language that is for the most part mutually intelligible with Norwegian, so I can confirm from what I see here that he is not a citizen. "Midlertidig oppholdstillatelse" means "temporary residency permit" and is not the same as citizenship. Scoring one in Norway is actually pretty difficult if you're from outside of Scandinavia, so I am guessing that he arrived on a working VISA and (at one point in time, anyway) possessed some type of marketable skill set.
