There's no legal age limit set by the government, but individual retailers might have their own rules/limits.

For example, Sainsbury's (one of the big supermarket chains here) will only sell painkillers to people aged 16+, and you can only buy up to 2 packs at once.

That's based on guidance from the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency.

Santa Cruz Joker was Pod Awful's favourite lolcow for a while. There have even been some new episodes about him on the the Youtube channel (new as in the last few weeks). And I'm pretty sure most of the old episodes about him are behind the $1/mo paywall.

Now that I think about it, he does seems like the type of person to troon out in a big way. Wow, the lack of forethought and research into what side effects and long-term risks these treatments have baffles me. I trust my doctors - if they say "take X drug" or "you need Y procedure" I'm generally going to do what they recommend eventually, but I'm also going to go home and do a lot of Googling. I can't imagine not doing even a tiny bit of research into things. And I'm sure I'm not the only Kiwi who does this sort of thing.
