Our GPA system goes from 0.0-4.0. 3.5 is a high B to low A average, 4.0 is straight A's. So yeah it's a really good GPA but it's also potentially really fucking easy to pull depending on what courses she took, how her professors graded, and what kind of support network she had. It's up to each individual professor how they grade their class and they can just arbitrarily give you a grade with no recourse, and it depends on whether the plus/minus system is being used instead of just flat letter grades since a lot of schools were turning to that when I was in school. I was a frankly fucking awful student who never did the course work but tested well and I pulled a 4.0.
EDIT: And just to add onto this she's both black and a woman so there's a quota in place and the professors would potentially be more inclined to take it easy on her.
