There would have to be (a very expensive) accountant involved to work out what he does/doesn't owe given the complexities of tax laws in this area.

If he takes the full £120k in income (a ridiculously high salary in the UK putting him in the top 2% for income) then he would owe almost £40k in tax and almost £8k in NI per year.

Tax evader Jim would be an interesting story. I have no clue if he has or hasn't paid his correct taxes.

Speaking about political sperging Jim did a tweet regarding the statement the attorney general said about trans kids, Jim does what I think we all thought he does and just parroted a viewpoint from someone else in this case it turns out to be wrong.

Even if he just keeps it as "business" income then it's almost £23k a year in corporation tax. Plus employer NI if he employs anyone here.

This wound up being discussed a few pages ago, the company referenced on the Jimquisition website is based in Pennsylvania & I would guess it's where his income goes to. This would mean he's tax avoiding in the UK if he hasn't changed anything. However if he's moved back to the UK permanently, that company may have been wound up and he's using the business income arrangement in the UK, if he's smart.

I really hate how actively these people are willing to support corporate dystopian hellholes as long as its in their favor. The people cheering for companies coming out and saying "We're investing in Governance and Social Obligations" horrify me - Why the FUCK would you want a company actively taking money from workers and shareholders to spend on dictating the lives of their staff outside of work?
