The fact that most of these comments on this thread are from people who registered since 2019 (including myself) is pretty amusing. It does show that not all newfags are bad at integrating, but it does show that we are insecure.

It is a natural thing to have more newfags, it means the site grows and can replace people who log off and get a life.

I argued with L50LasPak before he was a mod and he had an axe to grind with me which was fine I don't care its not like I was not being a cunt. I made unpopular posts in an A&H thread and got banned, I sent in an appeal and was being reasonable with it and the guy full site banned me for no reason, like I could not access anything or contact anyone. That is the lore on why he is no longer a mod.

What annoys me is after Null reversed my ban I looked into him and found out we had a lot in common and played the same games and shit, we clearly got off on the wrong foot (which I tried to make amends with before my account was nuked). Still to this day I do not hate the guy and do hope he is better off not wasting his time trying to moderate the cancer that we know as A&H.

What if prospective users have to post a thread explaining what they add to the site? Also give them some questions so they selfdox. Imagine the luls. You could still have them register the same way but restrict them to a specific forum. It has some negative consequences like making the site more adversary to new users but it could be a good experiment.
