Registrations will remain closed to the public throughout June, 2022.

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
I don't know if attaching a reg fee is reasonable or desirable, given the nature of the site. It's an internet drama gossip forum, not some exclusive club, and restricting registration to people willing to pay $10 will reduce the flow of interesting information; I can't imagine there are many people who want to spend money to sperg about spergs. Plus, look at what SA became: a bunch of self-important elitists proud of the fact that they paid $10 to register for a dead "comedy" forum.

I wonder if there's a way to implement a "lurk timer" where users have to have some (unspecified) amount of time spent reading threads before being allowed to post (or they can submit some sort of appeal if they have a reason to post sooner, but what kind of pressing reason do you have to post about internet bullshit?). I'm pretty sure new users need to have their first few posts approved by staff, but it seems like that isn't sufficient and definitely isn't scalable. Forcing the time to be specifically reading threads addresses them not experiencing the culture and adds time between whatever event caused them to decide to register and their first post.

that, or make forums specifically for the topics and then nuke any user who posts in them, retard genocide best day of my life

Can't they just be contained to a new subsection of the forum until they receive enough stickers from already registered users to pass further?
Make them grind the points or just pay to advance early. If you let them grind, then there's a chance they'll learn the do's & don'ts.
And if they'll sperg out after paying just ban them like all the others. They already paid after all.

The fuck would they even talk about in a "new" subsection. It just seems like it would have no general theme or would quickly devolve into low effort posting with a lack of cow/community/happening/or hobby to post about?

And what "veteran" would even wade into that garbage heap to give them good boy stickers?

Same, but the result is they are not taught "have several emails and don't reuse passwords or identities" in school. They are not introduced to it as a concept.
Many Zoomers have only ever used touchpads and touchscreens. We are talking about terminally online children who have never even used a computer mouse. The concept of operational securitarianization is way beyond them. These poor bastards never even learned to point and click.

make newfags write an essay on why they would like to have an account as an referral contest.
It would weed out the retards and also make people who dont understand a forum make a fool out of themselves without doing much damage.
Reminds me of a Facebook group dedicated to discussing Jojo I was part of. When part 5 anime got released the group was flooded with so many retarded weebs joining just for memes that at some point jannies made new rules - posting of certain memes was strictly prohibited, and in order to join you had to anwser some detailed/obscure question regarding plot of the manga (one such question was "During which fight did Hermes canonically vore Jolyne?") It wiped out most newfags succesfully, and made me realize that gatekeeping is the only good way to go for a fandom.

So I think that good way to go would be to make all the newfags (like me) wanting to make an account be required to anwser some questions regarding Christory - it worked there so it should here.

My brother in Christ, that shit sounds dangerously similar to Discord grooming.
I want to be groomed by @Meat Target. Mold me into your perfect little Ker-meat Target, Daddy.

You're not thinking like a capitalist.
Ass pics = :like:
Titty pics = :agree:
Full nudes = :winner:

The concentration camp thread in the America First section for Nick Fuentes's simps is the worst thing I've ever read on here. I thought it was a joke until I saw the post histories of some of the retards posting in it.
Why did you fucking point me to this you evil human being?! (:_(

P.s. Yes I changed my nickname to contribute a little bit to the deretardation of the 'rums.

Honestly I understand why you are closing registration. I lurked for a few years before I finally decided to register so I could comment on the 'what did you cook recently' thread and share what I'm cooking. Stupid reason to join I guess.
That's how they radicalize you. They lure you in with kitchen tips and recipe advice and then next thing you know you're seven thousand pages deep in a thread about a transsexual horse fetishist.
