Registrations will remain closed to the public throughout June, 2022.

I did what I thought was right. That's all I have left to say.
Dude what the fuck happened to you. You had a random ass freak out on movie night that caused you to quit being on mod on there just about a month ago (most of us were just busting your balls), you're being a drama queen on a forum laughing at internet drama, like dude calm the fuck down for once.

To the same crowd, the ultimate plan was to begin open discrimination against Reddit, Twitter, 4chan and Discord users to destroy the influence of other websites on A&H. I stand by this step as being necessary for the health of the board and KF as a whole.

HOLY FUCK DUDE ARE YOU FUCKING INSANE LOL. HOW FUCKING RETARDED DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO GET THAT TRIGGERED OVER PEOPLE WHO SAY THEY POST ON FUCKING DISCORD OR TWITTER.

This is seriously dumber than anything idiots like Asterisk or Snailslime ever did.

It's a fucking forum. STOP TAKING IT SO SERIOUSLY.

When will people fucking get it. I have been right every single fucking time. Corbin Dallas, Armpit Cream, etc. When will you fucking spergs get that you automatically become the very retards you rail against the moment you show that you actually care about a shitposting comedy website created to mock a retard who drank his own semen on camera.

The only thing worse than the pretend-jannies we have here are the actual jannies who inevitably let this place become their job for whatever fucking reason. Go get some bitches IRL you pathetic fucks.

The idea of lurking is non-existent. Social media sites like twitter and reddit encourage people to give their opinion about literally anything and everything, no matter how pointless and regurgitate the opinion is. They feel their opinion MUST be heard about anything and everything and if they have the "right" opinion they get rewarded with updoots and likes. Registration should limit your posts to 1 a day or something for the first 3 months at best.

I blame Bindu Reddy for all this.

The most annoying thing about these newfags is that they backseat moderate like hell while derailing the threads for the exact same reason they're bitching about.

It's not even A&H that's the worst offender anymore. It's Beauty Parlor because you have all these thots, and mommy-bloggers powerleveling and humble-bragging all the time about how they're "such good moms/people in general unlike *insert lolcow here*" while at the same time reeing "off-topic" when anyone else does it, or when they get told to shut up.

I wonder if there's a way to implement a "lurk timer" where users have to have some (unspecified) amount of time spent reading threads before being allowed to post (or they can submit some sort of appeal if they have a reason to post sooner, but what kind of pressing reason do you have to post about internet bullshit?). I'm pretty sure new users need to have their first few posts approved by staff, but it seems like that isn't sufficient and definitely isn't scalable. Forcing the time to be specifically reading threads addresses them not experiencing the culture and adds time between whatever event caused them to decide to register and their first post.

You want a 7 to 90 day waiting period before I can shoot my mouth off? I'm not buying a gun or aborting a child.

I just wanna say no no words in my new special place.

Is there a problem with not posting in the lolcow threads? I just don't feel like I have anything to add to them, I just use the site to talk about vidya. The whole "forcing members to integrate" thing sounds kinda gay. Unless I read into it wrongly, and you just want retards to stop shitting up threads.

For example: There aren't many places to just talk about stuff without worrying about saying something that upsets people. Like the RLM thread, it's the only decent place i've found to discuss RLM without either being a hugbox or a hate circlejerk. Idk, there's some weird mini-communities on this site that are pretty alright.

"Guys we have to protect our community and site culture. We can't let these people ruin Kiwi Farms." - The thread.
Every one of you is a monumental faggot.

I stand by this step as being necessary for the health of the board and KF as a whole. The actual number of those people was (before April/May this year anyway) much smaller than I had anticipated, this plan could have worked had registration stayed closed.

Makes no difference now, anyway.

Which anime OST was playing in your head when you were heroically attempting to save KF (and the rest of the world) with your master plan?

You're missing the point I think, but yeah, I read lolcow threads, but don't post. I have more to contribute in the political BS threads. We're important too! #politisperg_lives_matter

That's precious. After a very long time lurking I jouned the farms just to laugh at Brianna Wu being a failure at life and to say that SecretGamerGrrl is fat and nobody would have sex with him.
Secret Gamer girl is one of the threads I've lurked in, dude is fucking crazy. I never felt a need to make an account to talk about cows, though, although a comment in Ralph's threads was one of the first ones I made.
That's how they radicalize you. They lure you in with kitchen tips and recipe advice and then next thing you know you're seven thousand pages deep in a thread about a transsexual horse fetishist.
Yep, seen it before on 4chan. I start looking at /ck/ and the next thing I know I'm fedposting about being a white nationalist despite being a native american. Horrible, really. :stress:

I recommend adding a simple, multi-choice, entrance exam to the registration process...

#1 Does the First Amendment guarantee:
a) The freedom to say anything, anywhere.
b) The freedom from the consequences of the things I say.
c) The freedom from persecution by the Government for the things I say.*

*Which they violate in many ways.

#2 Is "Internet" a proper noun?
a) Yes.
b) No.
