People even here in the states are still masking up for... reasons. In the FGC, they had Combo Breaker this past weekend and EVERY tourneyfag was masked up.

Chelsea Clinton by all accounts is a slacker who has spent her entire adult years basically drifting from one charity grift to another. Her parents spoiled her rotten so she never has had to work an honest day's work in her life and she's well off enough to basically never have to worry about starving or going homeless. Why run for office when she has all of the benefits with no one of the work?

Then she went to a dream gig at CNN. Couldn't be bothered to show up for work or turn in any articles for publishing. Left after 4 months.

After all why should she work. She's part of the Clinton Foundation and gets paid a few 100K a year for absolutely nothing as a "organization director". Why bother to go to a job or put any effort into anything when her whole life will be full of wealth and power beyond most peoples dreams. She'll spend the rest of her life coddled and wealthy so she's got zero actual interest in anything political.

My husband is the son of a Vietnam vet, so we have the ability to get out (I think my husband can cross the border unvaccinated as an American but I can’t at the moment) but where would we go?

My little community here is an oasis of lovely, skilled, down-to-earth people with beautiful kids and lots of guns.

Once my grandma goes, I guess it might be easier. Fuck.

But they just…. melted away, and I’m not sure how it’s possible that there was no institutional pushback. The truckers had no institutions supporting them, just the people. And it was enough to back the pressure off a bit but the ratchet will not let up.

It’s disconcerting how easy it was, really. Justin didn’t even need a majority government. Just payola for the media, a little flattery for the Important People in Ontario and Quebec. Saskatchewan put up more than a fight than Alberta and it wasn’t that impressive.

I hope you guys can do better than we did.

They've latched onto to that because, in the Heller v. DC decision, Justice Scalia said that 2A is "not unlimited". so they interpret that to mean "we can limit it as much as we want as long as we nominally keep it on the books!"
