Nah I disagree. Vox probably just lost a good portion of the fujo pay pigs because of that. The dude may have gained respect in our eyes but that doesn't translate to dollars.

You didn't actually think this episode meant he was going to voluntarily stop collecting free money from his BFE ASMR, right? Right?

That said, he's done some adequate damage control. Not perfect, but better than I thought he would do. He's going to have to move forward far more carefully in the future. Hopefully this is the wake up call about the fire he's been playing so flippantly with..

Its gonna be interesting to see the super and membership calculations following this for a while now, shame /#/ has lost its number one master baiter if he does get a massive dip lmao

Yeah, the moment he said he's still going to continue his BFE streams, you know he's prioritizing his paypigs more. This is especially more true like one of my post said, those Schizo Fujos are going to believe they are part of the good people of his community, and not the bad actor. One thing I know about these kind of female audience is that they will ABSOLUTELY do all sorts of mental gymnastics first before admitting they were in the wrong

I took a look at the people that liked that Reimu threat and the only conclusion I can come up with is that these people are insane and have amnesia. They are complaining about antis while simultaneously posting nasty shit and RTing fanart of the people they hate. It reminds me of what Kson talked about in that one stream where she reads her twitter DMs. Antis are like Manchurian Candidates that just activate one day and flip shit before losing all their memory and going back to posting about how much they love their oshi.

They are probably in Vox's stream right now cheering him on believing he isn't talking about them. :cryblood:

/#/ stopped caring about SCs due to Nijisanji having a few months in a row of topping the SC chart. Ironically they switched to the "well merch is what actually matters" cope that was previously associated with Niji tribalists over there.

In any case, as much as people like to blame the Chinks for everything, most of the people I saw sending hate to Reimu probably weren't Chinese. It's easy to tell when a lot of the antis are Chinese because they usually use brand-new Twitter accounts due to not otherwise using Twitter much. This was the case back during the Mizuchi drama in Luca's fanbase, which directly related to the Chinese and this most of the flaming came from Chinks.

Right now it seems to be more about Salome, and it'll probably be staying that way the second she gets monetization. I'm more interested to see how/whether Anycolor acts on this; I'd imagine the currently most profitable Vtuber on the market having this sort of a slip-up one week before your company goes on the public stock market isn't exactly known as having a good time.

In my sample, I can't help but notice at least 2/3rds of these people have 中文 in their profiles (post was in english).

Realistically? Anycolor won't do anything that we notice on our side as fans, and it won't have any lasting impact beyond the next few days. Feel free to call me out if this isn't the case.

People on Twitter were immediately like "post this on bibili", lmao. I think his earnings will take a dip, but not a heavy one. Those toxic people were filtering out a lot of potential supporters too, and I just feel in my heart that his next stream is going to be filled with akasupas.
