Meigh has no long-term plan. Getting impregnated by Ralph shows that she has zero forethought and I don't think she even realizes what is happening to her life right now, because it's pretty easy to see what Ralph's "long term plan" is currently. We have seen the texts with Faith, Ralph does not intent to live long, probably not past 40. He knows his health is failing from alcohol and drug abuse, he has already had a heart attack once. He is intending to go out with a bang and he will burn all of his money on traveling the world and fucking as many exotic hookers as he can before that happens. Neither Xander nor Rozy will ever get 18 years of child support because Ralph will die within the next 5-10 years and he will make sure that he leaves behind absolutely nothing. "Live fast and die young" has always been the Ralphamale motto and it hasn't changed a bit since he has become a father.Remember that May gets off on humiliating men. What's the over/under on May playing the "long con" here by getting knocked up by the Gunt (thereby getting her free unlimited access to a child) and then bleeding him dry for 18 years on child support when she inevitably leaves him for Sisco?
Alternatively, what's the chance she went into the relationship wanting to be on his side but due to his behavior behind closed doors, she eventually turncoats and joins the ayylawgs?
Purely speculation, but stranger things have happened in the extended Guntiverse already.
If he cared at all about Meigh or his kids he would clean up his act, stop doing drugs, stop drinking and get a fucking life insurance policy. But he won't do any of that because he doesn't give a single fuck what happens to his kids or Meigh after he dies. At least they aren't married so Meigh will not be responsible for the debt he is racking up, but I'm sure he's already driven her credit score into the ground and maxed out her cards. I don't think Meigh has a plan of what to do when Ralph inevitably strokes out or OD's.
