Obviously this is fairly limited info, but now that he's done a normal stream today I looked at the SC figures. He made $6,561 for his The Closing Shift stream this morning. 6.5k is not amazing by Vox numbers, but it is above average for a "regular" stream, being his second-highest gameplay stream SC figure for the month. For context, he only made $3,563 in the boyfriend ASMR stream that caused this whole issue, despite that being the kind of stream that people here think he makes all his money through.

So yeah, as I expected, looks like this won't have much of an impact.

Despite his apology being good, the whole Vox debacle just made me lose respect for the man, especially since I followed him since his debut and expected better from him since he apparently 'knew what he was doing'.

I think literally his next stream is the worst metric to go by if we're going to try and see if it actually affected his superchat earnings. The other half of the fujos think Vox is being victimized since he just got assblasted by Niji EN's own community so pity superchats are always to be expected. I think it's best that the numbers are compared a couple weeks/months afterwards.

Wouldn't count on it. The company itself has nothing to do with the drama, nor did Vox break any sorts of rule. If it does happen though, Nijisanji's going to be harrassed by Vox fans if they dare to punish their lord, especially since Vox is their top earner. I wouldn't count that Nijisanji has the same level of equality as Hololive when it comes to the treatment and punishment of their talents. Since they've gone public, they're going to prioritize profits over goodwill like any other company. Besides, most of the community think he's already been punished enough, which i massively disagree with.

Kind of also why anime is so frequently centered around high school age characters.

The problem is her total lack of communication when she is gone for so long. Nobody wants/needs detailed explanations, but a generic message about being out due to family issues or whatever would go a long ways instead of ghosting. Same thing going on with Uto right now too. And not putting something out there really breeds the rrats that quickly spiral out of control. Most people can't ghost at their work and waltz back in whenever they feel like it (and get huge bonuses for doing so like Ayame seems to be able to).

2) Because of (1), Salome is an extremely accessible V-Tuber. She has a strict schedule of 11pm-12am every day, and does not stream for more than 90 minutes. Working JP fans have noted that such a schedule makes it easy for them to plan around, and doesn't ask for much of their time. She is essentially operating as a late-night TV show episode.

This is something I noticed about Gura too that feels like she has gotten away from. She used to be pretty good about keeping her streams around 2 hours or a little less and that made them pretty consumable. But recently a lot of hers have started going 3-4 hours plus and, at least for me, there is a a psychological barrier to committing to watching something that long (assuming I'm watching VOD, live is different) and frequently I end up just look for clips instead at that point.

Ever since pricing out middle/working class families of their parks, Disney has been trying to appeal to 20-30 something year old women who like to drink wine. So Karen is actually the target demographic for Disneyland now.

I had been planning to bring my kids to DWorld pre-C, but prices have gone insane there now, so I don't think it will be worth it anymore. Disney is still big, but kids have so many other options now it isn't as central to their life anymore, so I don't think they will miss it much. Not like when we were kids and the dozen Disney VHS were the only kids' things to watch so they were in constant loop.
