Star Wars Griefing Thread (SPOILERS) - Safety off

No because she's black. Even if she's a "bad guy" you're supposed to like her or you're racist.

I know.

I really do wonder what the creative process is like. Liked villains have charisma and good characterisation.

This is just a pissed off person, with a chip on their shoulder who is angry with no backstory so far.

Do they literally just get off on being amaze balls for having a black character they forget to actually create a good character?

Is it that simple?

That sounds like you just described Kylo Ren.

Kennedyfilm is genuinely incapable of creating good vilians because they do not understand nuance. They also don't want the bad guys to be intimidating or threatening in any way so the good guys can always win.

I am still a bit groggy from a nap I took but ths came to me as I was waking.

The original trilogy, movie-wise, had only Obi and Yoda as the last Jedi.

As time marched on more stories came about that there were more, and more, and more jedi survivors.

The last few years just keep adding to the survivor count.

So in the end, we have a secretive group that follows a religion which elevates them above others, and while they present themselves as the voice of reason they have their fingers in the military, government and economies. They have no qualms on "advising" military action and even send their own operatives in clandestine missions to deal with problems and break laws in order to achieve their goals.

This group was eventually targeted by the government, and the story presented (by the jedi) is that they were exterminated, yet evidence continues to present itself that the "extermination" was wildly exaggerated.

Am I getting this right?
Makes one question how six million Jedi were exterminated by order 66. The numbers just don't add up.

109 star systems can't be wrong.

Star Wars told Ewan McGregor that the fans are being a bunch of racists and he should shame them for it.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. If you can blatantly insult your customers like this and they'll just sit and take it, your customers are fucking morons. The fact it was the most successful D+ premiere proves me right.

This show will get 100% positive press from this point on and it's all because the fans won't ask for anything better.

I defended Ren back in 2015 (seems like a lifetime ago) because I thought I understood the reason behind turning him into an unhinged, very violent Darth Vader fanboy. The writers didn't want another Anakin or another Darth Maul AKA stoic and menacing dude with cool lightsaber design because Sith can be boring. I also thought he was a lvl 3 villain who was bested by two lvl 1 heroes by the end of the film but then TLJ came out and my theory collapsed.

Honestly Kylo (and Finn to a lesser extent) were some of the most wasted characters in the Sequel Trilogy, Kylo himself is a more egregious case only because Adam Driver clearly did his best and he has been great in stuff he appeared as since, but he'll be known for Kylo more.
