A lot of it is from twitter drama and reddit. If you look at the threads they congregate in it's all the kind of drama you read about there. Genshin, Minecraft youtubers, shipping drama, stans/antis, and lolicon. IBS and politics are also big contributors too and those come from other people whinging about the forum on their own streams.

Well, jokes have to be funny to begin with. Also most comedians tend to have thick skin, thick enough to roll with the punches when they bomb, not run off stage throwing in a hissy fit how no one appreciates their humor.
