Black workers leaving means that something with jail time attached is happening. They don’t want to be the fall guys.

Not sure if a joke but... yah. Basically. A lot of the black staffers brought on have been from groups and communities rather familiar with using others as easy fall guys. And these people would know they have been brought on as diversity hires who are high p the list of disposability.

  • "Ghost guns" have to be engraved by a licensed manufacturer or importer within 30 days. Irrespective of when it was made, it's illegal to possess a ghost gun 30 days after the bill comes into force.
Finally getting the ghost gun ban I see.
  • It's illegal to sell or transfer a machine whose primary purpose is to manufacture firearms to anyone other than a licensed manufacturer; you know the ATF is going to have fun determining which machines have a "primary purpose" to manufacture firearms.
  • Any firearm with a slide, cylinder, frame, or receiver that does not generate a sufficient magnetic field is an "undetectable firearm" and verboten.
This is their attempt at wrangling 3d printed guns. Say goodbye to that since the GOP will give them what they want.

Great. And nobody will do a damn thing about it.

I still don't get over the idea of a "Business Democrat" like they probably are the worst Democrats in the room.

They claim to love making money but also attach a lot of gay shit on top, to make themselves feel comfortable in making money.

A "Business Republican" is easy to understand but a "Business Democrat" lol.

It's like a "Hippy Republican" or something like that.

Oh well I hope the Business Democrats fail.
Back before the 80s, the Democrat party was perceived to be much more regional. You had historic Democrat areas, like the south and parts of Appalachia, which hold roughly the same values now, as they did 50-100 years ago. In that environment a Business Democrat is able to exist. Sure, you clashed with Union Democrats, but you handled that through the "Good 'Ol Boy" system and you bribed the Union heads.

In effect, you had a lot of Democrat Representatives and Senators, especially at the State level, operating to protect local institutions and business. And you had a lot of local leaders and money men be Democrat, because it was the only game in town. It was corrupt, but it was the only way to get things done. To be frank, a lot of this "Good 'Ol Boy" shit is still going on under the auspices of the GOP.

This started to change in the 90s, the Cities and their progressive wing started to enforce the party line up and down the Ballot. Large corporate interests became the businesses to seek carve-outs for. They amped up the IdPol shit we know and hate today. And they completely disowned of the heritage of the party. Around the same time they started de-emphasizing the Union Democrat role as well, in favor of illegal migrant workers. So the Rural Democrats, and a huge portion of your Business Democrats, swapped parties. The Democrat Party, which was already struggling to maintain local power in the South and in Appalachia collapsed completely.

The Business Democrat still exists, in major cities, where it is the only way to get anything done. As well as in the high-end corporate headquarters of places like Amazon, Walmart, and Disney. They do this because the "Good 'Ol Boy" system still exists, just not for us.

Plagiarizing myself from another thread, this is what the Judiciary Committee Democrats are up to:

Here's a link to the hearing, which will occur on June 2nd, and the text of the bill:

It's only 41 pages, shockingly short for a bill, but they crammed a lot of infringements into it. I didn't have time to read it over carefully, here's what I noticed:
  • Severely restricts gun rights for those under 21 except law enforcement and military on active duty (reserve component has to buy them during AT I guess).
  • "Ghost guns" have to be engraved by a licensed manufacturer or importer within 30 days. Irrespective of when it was made, it's illegal to possess a ghost gun 30 days after the bill comes into force.
  • The definition of "frame or receiver" is expanded, looks like it includes uppers now.
  • If you have kids or live with prohibited persons, your gun has to be in a "secure storage device," which I assume will be defined by the ATF as something insane like a TRTL-30x6 safe. If you don't do this and your 17-year-old shoots himself, you go to prison for five years.
  • It appropriates $10M/year for ten years for "safe storage" grants. 75% goes to cities and tribes, 25% goes to nonprofits. Also a $400 tax credit for buying a gun safe. (A $400 safe might keep out a toddler but that's it.) These are only available for safes and devices "designed and marketed" for guns, meaning most of it will be spent on overpriced Chinese sheet metal boxes with drywall and little shoebox-sized lock boxes.
  • It adds bump stocks to the NFA. It defines bump stock broadly.
  • Large capacity feeding devices, meaning any magazine with more than 10 rounds (i.e. most magazines in existence) cannot be imported, sold, manufactured, or possessed unless grandfathered in. It authorizes a buyback for these magazines. Any large capacity magazine manufactured after the act must have a serial number; only police, retired police, and military get these.

There's also something about straw purchases. I can't tell what's changed, but the fact that they changed something means they changed it for the worse.
In the event that this somehow gets through the senate, it needs to be challenged in the courts immediately.

Not all serial numbers are equal.
Does it say whether the serial number needs to be globally unique?

If something is coming down the pipe, any idea what it would be?

Maybe it relates to the mid terms.

I do fill sorry for the black lesbian getting deer in head lighted by soft ball questions

What are your thoughts on the possible after Mid-Term departure of Ron Klain?
-Fascinating-. He was the spokesman and organizer for the Uniparty interests. And the sole legitimizer for all three factions for the Biden Admin. If he is leaving it means the cabal is officially disbanded and its weapons clear for every faction to go to open war with every other faction. Without any attempt at all to keep things out of view.

If that's your read, I'm wondering if his departure is dependent on the midterms. Like, if they don't go tits-up, he'll stay and keep on holding it all together, but if it does go tits-up, it's time to cut and run.

They are going tits up. There is no way to avoid it, not even with 'fortification'. That always had limits.

The question isn't if it will go bad, it is how much it will go bad.

With the Biden administration, 'how much it will go bad' is not a point they wish to avoid, but a challenge to be whole heartedly embraced.

Back before the 80s, the Democrat party was perceived to be much more regional.
People forget as late as 1992 Clinton-Gore ran on a very moderate, pro-business platform put forth by a now defunct organization called the Democrat Leadership Council. The fact that they immediately abandoned said platform once elected and embraced the worst elements of the Dem party apparatchiks aside, well, these things happen.

That would only be the case if it was beneficial to them which I can't see that being since that would likely alienate their core audience.
Long term audience retention thinking hasn't been their strong suite right now, and there's been marginal evidence outside of CNN of this changing. Besides, the screeching twitter mob is very easy to rile up with MSM - Maybe they're considering pushing Biden towards Orange Man status - not all the way, just far enough to generate democrat hate traffic against him as a traitor from the inside style of figure.

I doubt the MSM would be willing to call Biden out on any serious number of issues we're seeing right now unless he did something to harm their own bottom line.

Anyone getting the vibe that TPTB might eject Kamala Harris for a non retarded VP, then wait a bit and have the brain dead pedo step down? Biden can't keep going at this point but I don't think even the puppet masters want the monkey in charge or had long term plans for her.
There was an idea for a while that the Administration might nominate her as a SCOTUS justice, as a way to push her out of office. That obviously didn't happen, but there is still a lot of idle speculation on the subject.

Imagine getting a President Nancy Pelosi. It's not out of the realm of possibly.
