Yeah, but I've seen autogynephiles that want to basically appear like hardcore butch lesbians or pre-trans-men (ie: really masculine and androgynous, but obviously physically female).

It's reasonable to be worried. Most of the world offline is still relatively normal, but the internet is a groomer cesspool, and education is filled with perverted 'activist teachers' who are open about wanting to groom kids into their disgusting ideology. All parents want to believe their kids are strong and will stand up for themselves, but really kids just want to belong and be liked, and they're easy prey. Parents should be aware of it, but there are still ways to avoid a lot of it - the most important one being don't let your kid on social media or games unsupervised.
