If Harris steps down for any reason, Biden would appoint a new VP and both the House and Senate would have to confirm it.

Ford was a very intelligent man and a good Minority Leader, and one of the only people baller enough to go after a Supreme Court Justice by considering initiating impeachment proceedings. He was definitely not qualified to be President, but pardoning Nixon was probably the right move. He also inherited a shitty economy and a morally exhausted nation, and I don't think even a highly qualified person would've been able to achieve high marks during the 70s.

Because they've spent the better part of the last six years screaming that the MSM is completely right and to trust the experts and believe the facts, and completely ignoring every time they've blatantly lied and covered shit up, because the alternative would be to admit that conservatives were right about the lies, smears and manipulations. It wouldn't be a stretch for the MSM to gamble that they're too deep to leave, and start trying to farm hate clicks against the current administration. For this to fail, the left would have to forsake MSM and the "experts" widely, which would be both difficult in the short term, and apocalyptic for the left in the long term as they end up with no trust in mainstream media or alternative media; the former for turning on them and the latter for already being perceived as right wing.

I do think its important to note I never said this would *work* or that its a good idea. Just that the MSM is desperate and blind enough to attempt it.
