I heard him talk about memberships recently. He was comparing the 500 he has now to the 900 he had on twitch, which is a huge difference in how much he's paid. So people should step up, because he lost so much money when he moved from twitch.

So when he was on twitch, he really needed the help. He needed the support to make ends meet and pay the bills that he owed. He's broke (his own words during the prestream of the very stream where he lost his partnership).

But now he's on youtube, and he lost so much income compared to when he was on twitch. He lost (his own words) 1000-2000 dollars a month. He was (again his own words) making a good amount of money and he wasn't financially stressed out. So now he... really needs the help...?

But this all makes sense, because as he has said plenty of times, his youtube uploads don't pay shit. It's basically just an archive for his streams. They don't generate any significant income whatsoever, so he really has to rely on tips.

Except when his videos get claimed and the income for those videos get taken away. Then people need to step up and make up for all that lost income. He's not making anything on those videos, so he really needs help because that's a good amount of money that he's not getting.

He's worked harder than ever on the video, but someone else found all the clips for him.
He's not going to slam John and Howard after all these years because they make a lot of good points, but most of what they say is wrong and Phil can explain it.

Bottom line is, he wants your money, and you're going to get more of these videos until they stop making $300 per video.

Ego really does seem to be his prime motivator. The guy is too lazy to click update or move a greenscreen inside from his garage. Now he stumbles ass backwards into reaction kantent 7 years too late which requires zero work/prep. Yet somehow puts more effort into this then anything else hes done in the last 5 years. This is why I love watching Dave, its like watching a chimp trying to understand human tools.

I can’t believe people pay for this shit.
