you have to wonder, why is it that convicted drug felon Erin Reed is so fixated on getting children to start on drugs, here being hormone replacement therapy. I would maybe understand if he were addressing adults on how to get synthetic hormones, but he is instead talking about children.
I had a quick look back at when Tony started talking about "trans kids" and it was remarkably early in his transition. I think he has convinced himself that he was "born trans", that other people are "born trans", and he has said explicitly that making "trans kids" go through "cis puberty" is child abuse. Obviously there are strategic reasons for AGPs particularly to believe this, in that it takes the focus off their sexual motivations and gives them the psychological comfort blanket that they have made the right decision. But this doesn't necessarily mean that they are consciously using "trans kids" cynically, even if the overall result is cynical and self-serving.
The earliest I found searching for "trans kids" was
this post supporting Mike Webberley (
archive) after he was suspended for effectively providing back-alley horse-piss injections. (Webberley has since
been "struck off" (
archive) — equivalent to having his licence revoked in the US, despite the panel having drunk the trans kool-aid.)

This plays into what the future might look like for Tony, which I've been thinking about since it came up in the Rhys McKinnon thread:

I mean, yes, yes, "lol 41% when?" but putting aside that possibility, it looks pretty bleak. I think Tony has been getting more and more extreme in his views, with the claims of genocide and comparing people who disagree with him to Nazi death camp guards, let alone the normal puberty equals body horror stuff above.
I think that's a byproduct of Tony's personal situation. His second marriage failed, he had an acrimonious divorce and the relationship with his ex still seems to be poor, which matters because of their kid.
After the divorce he concluded he was trans and has pinned his personal struggles on this — interestingly he says that his panic attacks have stopped since, which if true I think is a case of him using being trans as a psychological escape from other mental health problems (which continue to be unaddressed!).
His relationship with his parents is bad because they don't share his beliefs. For Tony this makes them bigots, though he was happy to use his dad for childcare when he had his dick chopped off (and didn't tell his dad that's what the operation was!).
Tony's son meanwhile is 7 this year, and Tony has tried to convince him that Tony is his "mom". Tony's son is getting conflicting messages from Tony's parents and ex-wife, though if Tony is to be believed, his son is fully on board with Tony being "mommy Erin".
We don't know much about Tony's relationships since his separation from his wife, except that one was with another MtF troon, and one I speculate was either another MtF or a straight woman who dumped him (or just rejected him straight off)
because he was getting his penis inverted.

That just leaves Tony as a T4T sadsack for the rest of his existence, whether that's a limp MtF peen, numb FtM frankendong, or rubbing amholes with another male "gender confirmation surgery" lunatic. Even the most cursory look at
the surgery thread will show you that there is no pleasure to be had from these Mengele constructions, so Tony won't even be able to get himself off. What a fucking life.
And, so, circling back, I see Tony having nothing to fall back on except trans activism. He has painted himself into a corner in every part of his life. The way things are going I expect to see him getting even more angry and extreme and bitter.
