Maybe, but it doesn't seem to be as woke/perverted as the FBI so far as we know. At least it isn't being used to crush political dissent, not that it has the means to do that compared to the FBI.
You’ll know the Secret Service is as rotten as the FBI when they start making visits for public criticism of elected officials under the guise of “threats”.

OK, you fucking smug rich assholes, let me explain this to you in layman's terms....just because YOU'RE weathering this OK doesn't mean the rest of us are. And the more that you keep pretending that we are, the more pissed we're gonna get. And the more pissed we get, the more likely it is that we wanna see you malicious retards hanging from lampposts. Capisce?

Mystification is a key concept and excuse of Marxist philosophy; in America it takes the form of "voting against your own interests (that we decided for you were your REAL interests)" and "things are actually great, those durn Republicans pouncing have screwed your head up with their disinformation." Marxists of the past understood that screeching "you're being tricked!" all by itself wasn't enough to get support, for modern Marxists screeching it is all they ever try.

For popular music sure. There was a lot of bandwagoning onto disco at the time. That shit was soulless. But a lot of alternative rock and shit was just taking off in 76. And disco at its best is really fucking good.

Yeah you gotta take in to account some touchstones in the later 70s and even into the 80s or 90s. But overall you're talking about an inversion: up to 76 or so there was an embarrassment of riches in music; you've gotta really think to come up with duds. After that, the gold starts to run out and it gets harder and harder to pick out really great albums or singles. By...1995? ish or so music is effectively dead.

Music is a product.

Remember the saying you have a face for radio?

now its not enough to be good or talented you have to look the part etc etc.
