Hasn't the A-10 been doing surprisingly well despite having the US flag on it? I guarantee you they're going to do something to milk those sweet, sweet Top Gun bucks.

That said, this is just going to make literally everything worse with yet more powercreep and more BR compression, so yet another reason for me to stay the fuck away from WT.

no clue about the A-10 i havent played war thunder since 2021 i think

EDIT: It seems they have ditched their music for some trailer crap since the Winds of Change update. God even their music is getting worse.
 
Ok Dev server news, f-14 is early varient, not too good imo, can carry 6x aim-54/aim-7f and 2 aim9-D/G/H. It also has TWS.
Aim-9H has better seeker than G, but otherwise is same missile
Aim-54 does not have loft, nor its historical speed, and is very easily dodged, tbh doesn't seem meta breaking Ala t-2

All in all, fairly light update, but this is only the first dev server so I'm assuming there will be a second tt 4th gen jet this update cycle.

But on the other hand, it's just an game that's already taking some liberties with the damage mechanics.

To be fair, the Moffett also has the US flag on it and look at where it's considered to be. That being said, I'm not looking forward to seeing even more Cold War aircraft popping up without seeing at least a BR expansion up to 11.7 if not 12.3. I've already heard and seen the horror stories from my buddies about getting molested by the A-10 while playing in the German hell of 6.7-7.0 Ground.

Same here. They and Gaijin catering to them with BR is what drove me out of this game. "But but just shoot the Panther's mantlet!" Bitch, you mean a narrow-ass strip on the front I have to carefully aim at, while meanwhile your ass can just click my Easy Eight from a kilometer away?

By their logic it should be totally possible to defend themselves from an A-10.

To be fair they can, most pilots in GB are absolute dogshit and WILL go for the kamikaze bombing run instead of playing them normally.
But I agree that most of the mains are utterly fucking insufferable even outside of the realm of saying "Germany suffers" endlessly. I can not even begin to count just how many times I've had one of my friends get mad that I bring lower tier chaff like the Sturer Emil or Tiger I's to 7.0 games simply because there's no fucking way I'm wasting 8,000+ on getting ATGM'd once when they work just as well. This is the same guy that would then proudly state that Panther armor is practically frontally immune and then get mad he inexplicably can't figure out how to penetrate an M60 properly, too. I genuinely don't understand the mindset and it just makes me wish I was playing with the Russians instead.
