The second Britain forfeited our sons and daughters to be tortured and raped by the worst force towards civilians in the countries they occupied in WW2 was the second it should have forfeited any right to representation on any Australian symbolism, or any influence on government. Unfortunately as previously stated we have a bogan aristocracy that for some reason is sycophantic to a country that despises us and cut us dry. Americans may despise us, but at least they've never cut us dry.

We aren't well educated on WW2 in Japan, good to know we wooped you Aussies so badly in Singapore. On a more serious note, thanks for your snippets of Australian History, it is enlightening.

It wasn't the Aussies that stuffed up. It was the British Officers, they demanded Aussies fortify Singapore, and ignored American intelligence that the Japanese would invade down the Malay Penisula, believing the invasion would come from the sea. They deployed Australian and colonial troops on the other side of Singapore and retreated to the Malay side believing it was the safest place for British command. The Japanese moved quickly and invaded exactly where the Americans told the British they'd invade, essentially capturing the British command who immediately surrendered. Churchill then negotiated the release of British Officers and most of the British military in Singapore to return home so he could defend Britatin, and handed over Australian, New Zealand and Indian colonial troops to be prisoners of war. When pointing out that he'd left the colonies without an army to defend themselves his remark was "Why send water to the barn when the house is burning?". Australia was a big loser in Singapore, but it was as a result of British command decisions and rampant incompetence. There is a lot more to WW2 and the Pacific theatre, that gets ignored in favor of Europe, mainly due to certain media and entertainment industries being controlled by a certain group who likes to make out they were the only people who suffered in WW2 so lets only talk about Europe.

Watching as the gays are slowly pushed out of their own flag. Hilarious how at the end of the day, their own hyper acceptance resulted in them being deemed “too vanilla”.

Jokes aside, imo the only real “valid” sexualities are Gay and Bisexual. Even lesbian is just gay but for women, which really doesn’t need it’s own term. The rest are either psychobiological disfunction or fishing for attention.

Can’t wait to see how Pride 2022 goes over.
