Why do leftist hate white people so much when 90% of them and their voters are white? I never understood that. They keep preaching about white supremacy but they're creating them by spending a generation vilifying them for things beyond their control.
A few ideas I don't have the time or IQ to develop further:

There's a theory that minorities try to weaken majorities to prevent oppression by the majority. (It's applied to Jewish leftism in Culture of Critique, I think it could be generalized.) Since the left comprises a coalition of minorities, that sentiment would guide them. Majority members who belong to the left would go along with it for political benefit or because of indoctrination. For an example of political benefit think of Joe Biden, who has said blatantly racist things about kids "going to school in a jungle" or Barack Obama being the first "clean, articulate" black man to run for President, but now celebrates whites becoming an absolute minority. For an example of indoctrination, think of the average NPC downloading its latest software update.

Haidt's moral foundation theory, applied to liberals, shows they have an overwhelming concern for care/harm and (to a lesser but still great extent) what Haidt labels "fairness." They have very little concern for in-group integrity. If you tell those kinds of people a certain group is harmful and unfair they may start to believe it, even if it's their own in-group.

Marxism requires continually challenging dominant ideas and structures in society with an "antithesis," which is supposed to create a newer and more perfect "synthesis." This process is supposedly repeated until the state of communism is achieved. As long as white people are or are perceived to be dominant, Marxism requires continual attacks against them. They more open about this in the 70s, but since those radicals infiltrated (or were welcomed into) academia, they dressed it up in academic terms and disseminated the philosophy into the culture at large.

And nary a one of the activist class ever recognize their own hypocrisy. No "I'm sorry that I enable, nay, depend on the exploitation of the third world for my comfort and moral sanctimony!" tweets "sent from my iPhone." It will just be more sanctimony.

Quasi-Marxist ideology is convenient because it blames everything on "the system" and says nothing can actually be fixed unless "the system" is completely overthrown and rebuilt. Sure, we could diplomatically freeze out hostile, Communist regimes that rely on slave labor, and we could crack down on human trafficking across the border, but would that really end the capitalist system and global white supremacy? Of course not!

I sometimes wonder if going back in time to convince Hegel's dad to up his pullout game would be worth potentially losing the motivation for the good existentialists. You'd rip out the core of Marxist thought but lose staring into the abyss.

Not so much bait when I look at it.

Locally, bread has tripled in cost. The large store, 50 miles away, it's doubled, but that's 4 gallons of gas, so there's more.

Wheat flour is pretty cheap here and I've known how to bake bread since Home-Ec and Boy Scouts.

Economics say I might have to go back to making bread.
I just recently read the Army improvised munitions manual and wheat flour is a lot more useful than one might think.

the Reformed Edgy Bois: Because then they're off the hook on a personal level. If white people are inherently racist, maybe they don't have to deeply consider why they were so racist themselves. It's a problem inherent to their nature, they weren't just uniquely shitty people.
This is part of why there are so many rapists/pedos/groomers/troons etc involved in the ideology, Any man who tells you "all men are rapists" is just telling you he's a rapist

Parroting this same dumb Reddit talking point doesn't suddenly make it true

The president absolutely can control the price of gas as evidenced by Obama's weaponizing the US oil industry to crush Venezuela back in 2014 after they tried to cut a deal with OPEC and muscle us out of the oil industry.

And are you suggesting that the Ukrainian conflict started in Jan 2021? Because that's when gas prices started going up month over month without fail

Well no shit. When you devalue currency there's basically no point in trying to save up; it'll just be toilet paper anyways.
Spend all your money now on anything that's capital, tools, land, metal, food, anything that has a practical value. It'll all be worth more than the paper soon.

People have always been staring into the abyss. Ecclesiastes was written what, like 2500 years ago?
