Does 'reactionary' even hold any meaning? I remember that calling someone a reactionary was something that WW2 era Communists did if that someone did or said something they didn't like. What is it supposed to even convey in context? "We hit the hornets' nest and now we're getting stung, this is all the hornets' fault" is about all I get from it. It just sounds like tankie-speak for "contrarian."

Fucking christ. What sick upbringing did this horrific cancer have to shit on the legend himself because "muh downplayed tropes". Nobody is thinking about sexual assault when they see that shit. They see an older woman going after a middle-aged wolfman and it's funny because it's a subversion of the trope since the wolf is hankering after Red Hot throughout the cartoon. The wolf is basically getting a taste of his own medicine. Who the fuck obsesses themselves over thinking that it's going to poison the mind. This is like religious motherfuckers thinking that everything is satanic. Goddamn it. Nobody is fucking thinking about the real deal when it's portrayed comedically. The joke is the concept and the execution, not the subject material.

Having been brought up immersed in the doctrine of the ultra-conservative Christian Right, as I gained some inkling of the atrocities and injustice being carried out in my name across the globe, I was shocked. I felt betrayed by not just my government but by the media, my education and my family.

Even though he later rejected God, I think he enjoyed the prudery and decided to stick with it. He does basically think everything fun is Satanic.

It basically means counter revolutionary, but in practice it just means anything contrary to the whims of the "revolutionary" calling you a reactionary at the time regardless of your actual beliefs or intent. A reactionary is an obstacle to the non-existent utopia and is supposed to be treated accordingly. It always cracks me up when these bougie LARPers try to sound badass by using revolutionary rhetoric as if they wouldn't be the first ones dragged off to the gulags or executed if their bullshit revolution actually materialized.

This stupid video keeps showing up in my recommends, even though I've never watched the channel before. I'm assuming he spergs out over a common fiction trope where a woman flirts with a man by finding an excuse to get topless around him and then acting indignant if he peeks at her (when in fact she's actually delighted that he passed her 'Not Gay' test).
