Anyone that would pass up $50k in exchange for a couple of punches to the face is either sitting on a pile of gold bullions Scrooge Mcduck style or is clinically retarded.

Phil would never do it, screw the money. His ego is way to fragile and him failing on that level would break him totally.

Guys, Phil is such a coward he is terrified of going to the mall for fear there may be someone who recognizes him and interaction is required.
Shivers in fear peeking out the window blinds every time he hears a noise, dreading it is an army of detractors making their charge to lay siege to his gout keep.
He has ran from every confrontation his entire pathetic life.
You honestly believe he entertained the notion of being part of a fight even for a moment?

Is there a reason why Phil trusts his dents to provide him with information when he could easily google it for a more reliable answer in less time and effort? Asking them how others get missed by the content ID (muting audio and actually fucking editing) when he could look it up himself is really fucking stupid.

And now he's going off on Twitch thots as if it's a clever fucking joke and has no idea why people frame the video in a larger aspect ratio than the facecam. The absolute fucking narcissism.

did this dipshit just question why people would want to see the actual state of play instead of his pale rotting face and the point of the "live react" is to see him?

he's doing this on purpose, I refuse to believe any adult not in hospice care or an adult ward of the state to not understand the basic priciples this thing gets aggravated over not getting.

Every few months, the really annoying topic of “Is Phil actually happy?” pops up on the main thread and it’s annoying as fuck. Nothing against the people who enjoy speculating about this topic, it’s just an auto-skip for me and for many others I assume.

The biggest mistake you can make in discussing this topic is applying your own standards for happiness (which are almost purely subjective for the most part) as a baseline for how Phil sees and judges his own happiness. Guys, Phil is not a normal person. I’m not saying anything revolutionary but none of us plop our asses down in front of a webcam and literally beg for money on YT, upwards of 8 hours per day, 6 days out of the week. The level of shamelessness such an act requires is difficult to understand for any well-balanced person. Shit, this is the reason most of us are here to gawk at this nigga, shit is just unbelievable to do even once and he’s been doing it for years. In Western cultures, and especially American culture, individualism is an important trait and an aspect of this trait is to not request for help to strangers, well, pretty much ever. Phil destroys this conception and has made it his life calling to never get a normal job that’ll require him to leave his house and put himself out there.

Someone as shameless and basic as Phil has only one factor that gauges his happiness: his Tips Goal total. Anything beyond this metric is completely irrelevant and secondary. This is a man who’s shown to live day-to-day, like a fucking animal, unable to plan for his future, think beyond the obvious for one second or be responsible, constantly needing to be bailed out, constantly in a crisis, and needing strangers’ money to help him out. None of us are in such a situation and none of us could imagine what happiness would feel like unless we were all virtual panhandlers. That’s what it would take to understand Phil’s situation and actually accurately gauge what happiness within this context would actually mean.

I don't know why anyone would watch any live restream of it-- I'm hoping for the FFXVI trailer to be released during it and the last thing I'd want is anyone, let alone DSP, excitement vacuum that he is, distracting me from it.

...You watch reactions after you've watched what you're excited for 50 times yourself in order to try to squeeze any extra hype you can from other people's first impressions. Watching reactions live seems counterproductive.

He pretty much has to know that his "membership" is really just a couple dents inflating the numbers. But I do wonder, because of how he occasionally says things like "Wahw, 5000 members and nobody in chat", as if it's a surprise.

I don't think there's any amount of money that will get him to leave the controlled reality of his office. The whales have ensured him that if he just begs hard enough he will get enough cash to do his pulls which is basically all he needs these days.

Another thing that everyone is glossing over is that we only see him when he's on stream. Of course he's going to be miserable when he's "at work". If you want to get a glimpse of what he probably looks like off stream just take a look at when he's doing those pulls on his pacman stream.

as someone said earlier, thats just dopamine. phil is objectively and without argument, completely miserable. momentary spikes he gets from dopamine hits dont make him happy.
i get that phil is a weirdo shut-in and not a normal person but there's still a standard that applies and phil is definitely an unhappy husk. it's not some kind of cope to believe that just because i dont like him, it's just reality.

autism in the flesh is so hard to watch but hey I did learn that Hamburg Germany is an american english place I guess....god he's so fucking dumb.

As far as if he's happy, well he tells us all the time how great his life is and how happy he is with it as you usually do when you are happy or what ever you feel you constantly have to remind people about like how he's mature, busy, hard working, smart, clever, good at videogames.

Besides that I find it hard to believe that someone who actively spends time to specially looking for shit to complain about and put down with his free time is actually content with their situation let alone happy, then again he's a barely functioning alcoholic so ofc he's "happy"
