Nexpo/YT Horror Channels - Do they all suck

I remember reading about the Silent Twins in one of those TIME/LIFE Books called "mysteries of the human mind" or something back in like 1997. For years I thought it was something they made up or exaggerated because I read a lot of those kinds of books as a kid and never saw them referenced anywhere else. The "Pepsi-Cola Addict" book title always stuck in my head, and I never saw that referenced anywhere either. The little blurb in that T/L book was so fascinating, you'd think that the Silent Twins would be a classic of the "real crazy people" and outsider art genres. Maybe it's because they're from the UK and I was in the USA and interest in the case never quite reached across the pond.

A few years ago they popped back into my mind and I found that they were indeed a real thing and had a Wikipedia page and everything, IIRC there are even pdfs of some of their writings floating around. Thanks for the reminder, I'm looking forward to watching this and revisiting them.

5s-Skipped thorough it. Maxxie put effort into it, but please. The intro was too fucking long and overstayed it's welcome. 2 minutes of his Hotline Miami-LARP would've been enough and given the resources those would've been editied way better. Is the YT 10-minute rule still in effect? It does sure seem like it. Also being concise, short to the point and neutral is the best path to follow. Putting pedos against the wall (like a special person talked about in this thread already) is a good thing. But please, don't be a complete sperg about it.
Also our favorite Tubecows have their own threads for anyone not knowing it yet or don't want to spend time reading 30 pages back (you lazy fucks):

The script was so overwrought too, it was like a 14-year-old goth kid's poetry. I felt bad for Nick Crowley reading his bit, you can hear him cringing at it as he's talking about "the miasma and ichor and dust between his teeth" and all that nonsense.
It's also really tasteless, I agree that killing paedos is a good thing, but he isn't actually killing paedos, this is just an edgy LARP but using actual child abusers for its content. It's like Chris doing a Curse-ye-ha-me-ha video aimed at someone, but with better production values. Say what you like about To Catch A Predator, they worked with the police and didn't go over the top in being edgy.

Man, I somehow forgot what a punchable face Janet Reno has. In a later interview, when asked, "What was your darkest day?" she can barely hold back a smile as she says, "It was Waco."

On a more positive note, I'm excited to see more of Wendigoon's gun collection. He tends to discuss his interest in firearms more during podcasts, so I'm glad he's bringing more of that knowledge to his regular videos.

Now, I hope he does the Battle of Athens. Do it, Wendigoon. Show the normies what a well-regulated militia can do against a corrupt system.

So what are the best videos (not tubers, just individual videos) you guys have seen covering paranormal/supernatural stuff?

One problem I tend to have with horror channels is I feel they over-focus on things like serial killers and the like, and I just don't care. Oh wow, a crazy person who has killed people. Oh wow, a cat that meows.

Paranormal is interesting.

Nice Try Neckbeardia, fuck back off to your greentext hovel

I'm at my wit's end with these fucking true crime and mystery channels who censor harmless words. I've seen comments in this thread from other Kiwis and myself about how channels like Barley Sociable censor out pointless words, which makes it hard to listen to and leads us to believe the video's audio is lagging. His newest video about premature deaths of musicians discusses dark topics like murder and suicide pretty frequently, but he actually censors the word "shot" a few times, which really fucks with the flow of the narration:

He's gotten plenty of criticism in the past for censoring words like "massacre" when talking about real life events that had that word in the name, so people in the comments would complain that it's hard for them to understand what event he's referring to.

Here's the timestamp: "The accountant for the group was sh_t in the arm and paralyzed...and police are still investigating the sh__ting."
