after at least a year of crying about how Post ghosted him, Ethan weaseled his way back into hanging out with him... gotta keep up those appearances with hollywood types to make yourself appear relevant. but last i checked, Post is a big gun advocate, including for assault rifles. doesn't Ethan want to literally bomb pro-gun people? now he's hanging out with one? yikes!

Bombing a bunch of grown adults is objectively worse than some dead kids. The adults are likely on multiple levels responsible for other people/things around them, have had 30+ years of experiences and lives wasted, are contributing to society on some level.

A bunch of elementary kids have literally no value outside of making their parents sad for a bit while also only taking a couple years to replicate them.

And really even if you somehow blew up every gun in the country and could keep them from getting in (lol) it would just mean it's time to start training knife-fu with the Chiknee who in 10 years have cut like 500 kids/killed a few dozen in a dozen different schools with 1 Guy 1 Poke. which is more impressive tbh

I disagree that's easy to say when you don't have a emotional attachment to a child or sibling if anything happened to my baby sister i would go full sam hyde on someone (the shooter meme version.) also kids have the potential become something/ someone who contributes to society in meaningful ways. I do agree killing anyone is fucked up but kids don't know any better and haven't even had a chance to live there lives and saying quote *be sad for a bit* when one of my distant uncles lost there child they where devastated for 15 years.... so yeah shit take.

He is also a bit of a prepper (which to Ethan's new crowd must be like wearing KKK robes) and hangs out with quite a few trump voters . From what I can gather, Post Malone himself is stated to be more libertarian/apolitical but that doesn't cut it nowadays, I guess. Post was a big fan of Ethan's channel back then, that's why he even contacted him in the first place. Back then they both benefited from the collaboration and had somewhat similiar fan bases. Now, associating with Ethan must be almost poison for any semi-relevant celebrity, so I figure it's just Post Malone being nice and keeping up appearances, throwing Ethan a bone.
