When prominent private citizen Democrats like Whoopi and Democratic members of Congress and candidates for prominent state offices start screeching about we are gonna ban this and you aren't gonna have that anymore we're taking it you can't stop us, all it does is give the Republicans in Congress a very valid excuse to do what they wanted to do anyway, which is tell you to fuck off

I'm thinking a national red flag law is all that will happen and it will be struck down because 1. Federal judges don't want their court system overwhelmed with cases that are 2. properly the jurisdiction of local, county, and state magistrates and judges

Biden's not good for much of anything, but economic stuff is definitely his weakest point.

To be entirely fair, he isn't completely wrong. The Fed printing money into existence for "Quantitative Easing", and Congress spending money into existence both contribute massively to inflation.

Another thing to remind people of is that what the Media and Administration calls "inflation" is actually a "Consumer Price Index" which is heavily massaged to the point of uselessness. the CPI being a set of products that the government measures the price of. The exact set of goods on the list are secret, subject to change, and then run through another secret algorithm to determine the Consumer Price Index (CPI).

At this point it feels like the fucking floor has dropped out on America. The plug has been pulled on America's industrial soul. A friend of mine has lamented that everything has gotten "darker" in America. (He lives in a college town and every day someone walks into work with a story about how the cops came to their apartment building, or there was a shooting in the area.)

And at this point there is enough evidence that Biden is insanely corrupt that the only "legitimate" concern Democrats have left is "Trump did mean tweets."

Part of me is hoping the economy bursts into flames just to see so these people can see the nightmare they created.
