My personal head-canon is that Keem wanted to get DSP to commentate on the matches.

And for the cherry on top he would bring in Panda as a last-minute guest and she would hug DSP in front of a huge crowd while Kat sees this at home sharpening her knife

I do struggle to comprehend how unwell a person must be to spend 15 minutes talking about how there's no value in react content and how lazy and terrible it is, only for seconds later the same person to describe in detail how their next stream is going to be looking through a menu, ordering and eating Doordash.

Also I may be the wierd one, but I have friends I haven't seen in 7+ years who I fall in and out of contact with, the way he's acting is so weird.

so one of 2 things I'm guessing happened, well 2 and a half, maybe 3.

He thought DSP reacts would take over youtube, everyone would talk about how amazing and deep his reacts were and nothing OR he watched the vid and either remembered he already went through this but can't remember his lies OR he couldn't think of any bullshit weasel out of what john and howard said OR listening to Rambos voice brought back that love'n feeling...ooh that love'n feeling so his fe'fes are hurt and doesn't want to cry on stream

The "big announcement" is that Phil won't run ads during the react because John and Howard said he would monetize them... but he will during the pre-stream and when he does his mukbang. Will only do shoutouts during those segments and not during the react. So he will monetize the react video just not during the video. Sounds good?

The rest of my channel is just a Twitch archive and not worth watching IMO. I just keep those videos to save HDD and cloud space.

Also: Phil is lying through his teeth. While you cannot shut off memberships during streams, you can disable Superchats. You can also disable Nightbot timers. He could also donate all the proceeds he can't control from tomorrow to Child's Play but you know he'll try to squeeze everything.

Reason I know this is because of hololive (which is always funny to compare with this piece of shit in regard to best practices) where the performers do not archive some karaoke streams and keep them unmonetized (so superchats are off) but people will spam join membership to the channel.

He "can't stop people from tipping or buying superchats". Like, he couldn't say, "Don't tip today." Or, he couldn't say, "Any tips today will be donated to charity" Or, he couldn't say, "I will donate any tips to a charity of John and Howard's choice." Or pick a way to not take the money.

He's acting like a saint because he's not putting up a tip goal on the screen or acknowledging tips...but he's still TAKING the tips. Mr. Zero Self-Awareness strikes again.

He's also still getting superchats, tips, gifted memberships, etc. He can turn off superchats for selected individual streams, and he's just straight up lying saying he has to quit the "partnership" to demonetize the stream. So his extra pigbrain solution is to say "I won't give shoutouts during the react portion of the stream and will save them until the DEVOUR segment." I wish Howard and Rambo would come back and call this disgusting fucker out for this shit, but they've moved on with their lives and left the piggy to wallow in his little safe space on the internet.

• Fucked over John Howard AND Howard's childhood friends by not paying their fair share

so Sf6, I was actually waiting for this 61 iq shit take, he doesn't know what "game engine" means, he seems to think it has to do with the order in which games came out in Street Fighter it also means game mechanic and plot points are "referencing" and things that actually happen happened "apparently"

which he keeps saying "apparently" for things that aren't apparent but actually announced and known which is amazing. He's pigsplaning SFV Vskills/triggers which makes them have builds so there's no variety in the characters in SFV...cause there was in SSF2T.

he literally has no idea what the drive system is, like everyone and their grandma who went over Sf6 drive system knows how it's going to work, he literally is guessing, he also clearly doesn't understand meter usage in games thinking more than one way to use a meter is some "unprecedented" thing.

EDIT - and it's funny cause he hates SFA3 which isms gave "unprecedented" variety, you know V-sim, X-ism, A-ism and the DSP special T-ism.

He also doesn't understand that John and Howard are 2 different people, and that for Howard the money was a much bigger deal than it was for Rambo. Howard was the one who was upset over not getting his cut for the merch, and he was the one who pointed out how DSP was able to buy a new BMW with the proceeds from their work while they got basically nothing.
