  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
And they're not above ginning up some hate speech of their own if the plebs aren't generating it fast enough.
Don't forget about euthanizing their citizens if they're indigent and have health problems. Canada's doing that too as we speak. But, according to our Gunt and Peetz/others, the commies/technocrats are the party to vote for.

I know I'm new, hell everyone is at one time or another, but it's an awkward time in the fabric of history like others have said because people have collectively known more freedom in the modern world than they ever have before and they're struggling to hang onto it regardless of beliefs. In an environment like that, seeking out a place like the farms is akin to a perpetual pilgrimage to keep following the openness we've grown used to.

I don't think the idea is to cut off growth and new membership forever

there's absolutely no one I would invite to the farms because I don't think I would talk about KF outside of KF and I bet a lot of people follow that same guideline.
I don't know, I don't either go around telling people that I have an account here but most of my friends know that I visit the farm from time to time to gather info/read threads etc, that doesn't have to be top-secret, or at least I don't think so. But I don't know, of course I want the site to grow but maybe it should have some kind of system weeding out unwanted people and morons. Or not, I'm not a long-time account holder (but I lurked a long time before I made an account) so maybe it's not necessary to have any restrictions on memberships/new accounts.

Sometimes I browse /wsr/ and in the past week i've noticed at least 4 threads of people asking for an invite for the high society of Kiwifarms. Even the jannies started removing them.
I should auction off KF invites from the Hulkster.

not really, this site has enough retards as is

By stopping free registration. Null in turn is going to cause more people to want o register. Just like that episode in South Park when Cartman blocks and insults his customers only to cause a large crowd to from around his establishment and even more people wanting to get in.

Also the website is still being touted as the last pure place for white nationalists and culture warriors to congregate and discuss real life plans about how to overtake their enemies. So people either didn't get the memo, didn't read the memo, or think they can pull one over....or they're federal agents hungry for more funding.

Yep and then those Republican manlets run into a post from the Hulkster and they get sent into a frothing rage that this site isn't the hugbox they were promised

As a longtime lurker, relatively new member myself, I don't mind the gatekeeping. So many good communities I've been a part of, or communities I've wanted to join, have been destroyed because people didn't protect their interests enough and relaxed the constraints. I don't often post because I feel I don't have anything pertinent to add, but I thought I'd offer my two cents here.

Only things I can ever think of are 'speed limits' for new users to discourage them from using the site as social media or an opinion piece. Too many posts too quickly and you just have to shut up for an hour or two. It's about the closest thing I can think of that's not straight up banning or censoring people while giving them the opportunity to actually lurk and read before feeling like they have to inject an opinion or quip every page.

Of course the reverse of that would be limited per-day posting, maybe even limited posts per-day per-thread to further encourage people to get out and look at more than just a few threads. Really make that joke or hot take count if you're sticker baiting.

That's really gay and every other faggotry website and platform do that.

Is annoying and only grows resentment and the need to fit in, otherwise they could be banned or silenced.

Your suggestions is reddit tier shit.

No, they realize it isn't a hugbox when they walk into a thread and see 5+ people laughing and dunking at you at once while you're in a frothing rage that nobody is agreeing with you.

Yeah that's exactly what happened to cock.li. As soon as registration was invite only I saw a large uptick in threads on /g/ begging for an invite despite it not being anything special.
