Nexpo/YT Horror Channels - Do they all suck

I'm at my wit's end with these fucking true crime and mystery channels who censor harmless words. I've seen comments in this thread from other Kiwis and myself about how channels like Barley Sociable censor out pointless words, which makes it hard to listen to and leads us to believe the video's audio is lagging. His newest video about premature deaths of musicians discusses dark topics like murder and suicide pretty frequently, but he actually censors the word "shot" a few times, which really fucks with the flow of the narration:

He's gotten plenty of criticism in the past for censoring words like "massacre" when talking about real life events that had that word in the name, so people in the comments would complain that it's hard for them to understand what event he's referring to.

Unfortunately that more youtube causing that to happen then the channels wanting to do that.

History channels are getting banned and censored too for the same reasons because youtube doesn't want any mention of that kind of stuff and because of it will more than demonitize you for it.

Even world war two documentaries have been getting channels banned lately for mentioning hitler or the word genocide.

Not the actual episode, which was fine, but the Timothy McVeigh episode where they recanted all their statements in the Waco video. Can't really listen to it anymore with that and on apple podcasts there's this weird playback issue where it'll skip back about a minute but the podcast run time will not skip back and keep on going. I see your point, but I finally watched the entire video: he's very inconsistent with censoring the same words. He censors the words "murder", "shoot", "LSD", and "cocaine" several times (even when showing clips of interviewers using using those words), BUT then says some of them himself or in interview clips later on. It's almost like Barely Sociable got lazy and stopped paying attention half way through his editing.

It's basically like this...

"The record companies were bribed with money or c_caine under the threats of being m_rdered.", then a few minutes later he'll be like, "He was a known cocaine dealer who was murdered."

But the real reason is they are trying to attract more advertisers because the adpolcaypses.
They had to renegotiate thier rates to keep any companies on board making current revenue not as much as before.

I've heard the argument of youtube being on the way out. I'd honestly wouldn't like it because the main competitors are twitch and tik tok, those are the big ones sinking youtube's viewership but neither of those have content i would consume and i would not replace youtube with neither. I'd rather see youtube stop being retarded and fomenting more freedom and incentive for creators to make better content.

More than a single sentence of info like the vast majority of youtubers that do icebergs. I wish there were more channels that went in depth with them because they are good background videos for when i'm doing other things.
