I don't know how people feel about Robert Barnes, but he is handling Brook Jackson's whistleblower case against Pfizer, and apparently they're trying to argue it doesn't matter if they lie and commit fraud, because the government was always going to give them the contract. I would appreciate if any legal experts can look into the case so far and give their thoughts/opinions.
Sorry for the doublepost, but wanted to go ahead and drop a reply so I don't forget to upload this stuff.
Not a fan of Barnes, he was giving out some bad advice on how to go about getting religious exemptions when OSHA ETS was still active (IMO), but this case is interesting and I'm glad someone's pursuing it. He just better not fuck it up. Anyway, I haven't had a chance to read through everything yet, but I did go on a ripping spree gathering what court docs I was able to dig up. Will look it over and poke around some more and come back later with comments.
Attached you'll find 2 docs covering Pfizer's contract with the US government that's at issue in this lawsuit, the whistleblower's complaint, and all the evidentiary exhibits I've found so far. I also attached a copy of the BMJ whistleblower paper from Nov 2021 that comes up in the chain of articles.
To make this thing easier to follow, here are some relevant article links on the lawsuit, in reverse chronological order:
