Wondering if there will be enough MAGA in Congress to counteract the DNC + RINOs that would impeach him for doing it.At this point I think it's a given Trump is going to pardon every January 6th person the first week he gets in. There might be one or two who actually did do something bad but by then we'll find out it really was a fed.
On the 9th they're going to do the first of a few prime time January 6th committee hearings, trying to make it parallel Watergate. Maybe they'll hire some consoomers in premade shirts and posters to pack the room to make it seem important.
So that means it'll be livestreamed online and/or aired on TV?On the 9th they're going to do the first of a few prime time January 6th committee hearings,
iirc Seb Gorka has said that's basically why the 2022 mid-terms will play a big role in if Trump runs for 2024Wondering if there will be enough MAGA in Congress to counteract the DNC + RINOs that would impeach him for doing it.
Human rights violationsFirst Iowan sentenced in January 6 riot at US Capitol gets 30 days in prison; son sentenced to four months
Feds: Farmingdale man sentenced to prison for role in Jan. 6 insurrection
New charges added against Central Texas business owner accused in January 6 Capitol insurrection
Hildale man pleads guilty, faces up to 8 years in prison for role in Jan. 6 Capitol assault
These are all in the past week or so.
I assure you, you are not.I cannot be the only one annoyed at doomers assuming Democrats have near-mythical abilities to bypass any and all safeguards, protocols, and systems in the country.
Any predictions from you or @Gehenna on how SCOTUS will rule on those major pending 2A cases like magazine bans and state level AWB and the New York permit case.I assure you, you are not.
No, because of Roe. If they rule against Roe they might grant those to the Democrats to mollify them. Vice Versa if they rule against.Any predictions from you or @Gehenna on how SCOTUS will rule on those major pending 2A cases like magazine bans and state level AWB and the New York permit case.
Implying those mean anythingHuman rights violations
Well that isn't good news in the long run for the GOP and the 2A.No, because of Roe. If they rule against Roe they might grant those to the Democrats to mollify them. Vice Versa if they rule against.
They could buck all expectations and rule against the Democrats on both, but that would signal a pretty profound shift in SCOTUS.Well that isn't good news in the long run for the GOP and the 2A.
My theory is different than that of Gehenna's on this one: Roberts is rather infamous for his do-nothing stance on basically everything, but I don't think that the powers that be truly understand how much they're forcing his hand. The Roe leak alone, and Roberts' response to it, may as well fundamentally be a declaration to the Supremes of "you'll do what we want, and you'll fucking like it, or we'll use intimidation to get our way."Any predictions from you or @Gehenna on how SCOTUS will rule on those major pending 2A cases like magazine bans and state level AWB and the New York permit case.
Me and @JosephStalin got this. @Jet Fuel Johnny for da win. Y'all need some flashback to Boomer rule instead of being the autistic fucktards you (maybe) pretend to be.Just in case you fellow beautiful autistic niggers missed it, Null is gonna be installing a new despot around A&H so we might end up losing the thread again depending on whether he chooses an HRT janny from other parts of the site or someone from around here.
@JosephStalin you have experience as a fearsome despot, won't you answer the call of the Motherland?
The problem here is that Roberts is no longer relevant. This kind of take is a remnant of when Roberts was the swing vote, the sole decider of cases. My theory is different than that of Gehenna's on this one: Roberts is rather infamous for his do-nothing stance on basically everything, but I don't think that the powers that be truly understand how much they're forcing his hand. I don't think Roberts is going to play ball. Not when a really obvious, really up-front way to bitch-slap this administration for its arrogance is being set in his lap for the easiest W possible. I could be wrong, of course: there is the possibility he caves on it, but I have a feeling he's seething behind the scenes, and won't turn down a chance to fuck them for it.
Who is the deciding vote now then? Thomas? The problem here is that Roberts is no longer relevant. This kind of take is a remnant of when Roberts was the swing vote, the sole decider of cases.
The current makeup of SCOTUS means that is no longer the case.
Roberts cucking, or any of the Federalist fags, means the GOP base realizes there's no good for any RINO and it will become even more of a spiteful, MAGA or bust movement going forward. You will see people gladly lose seats with RINOs to teach the GOPe a lesson. Because there's no reason to compromise when you won't give the normies the one thing they asked for.I sincerely hope the SCOTUS doesn't cuck on anything right now, not just because I strongly support second amendment rights, but also because of the potential demoralizing effect on GOP voters before the midterm elections.
Its split among all non-hardline justices. So every justice except Sotomayor, Kagan, and Thomas. The diversity hire will of course also be one when she is on, replacing Breyer.Who is the deciding vote now then? Thomas?
