At this point I think it's a given Trump is going to pardon every January 6th person the first week he gets in. There might be one or two who actually did do something bad but by then we'll find out it really was a fed.

On the 9th they're going to do the first of a few prime time January 6th committee hearings, trying to make it parallel Watergate. Maybe they'll hire some consoomers in premade shirts and posters to pack the room to make it seem important.

My theory is different than that of Gehenna's on this one: Roberts is rather infamous for his do-nothing stance on basically everything, but I don't think that the powers that be truly understand how much they're forcing his hand. The Roe leak alone, and Roberts' response to it, may as well fundamentally be a declaration to the Supremes of "you'll do what we want, and you'll fucking like it, or we'll use intimidation to get our way."

I don't think Roberts is going to play ball. Not when a really obvious, really up-front way to bitch-slap this administration for its arrogance is being set in his lap for the easiest W possible. I could be wrong, of course: there is the possibility he caves on it, but I have a feeling he's seething behind the scenes, and won't turn down a chance to fuck them for it.

Roberts cucking, or any of the Federalist fags, means the GOP base realizes there's no good for any RINO and it will become even more of a spiteful, MAGA or bust movement going forward. You will see people gladly lose seats with RINOs to teach the GOPe a lesson. Because there's no reason to compromise when you won't give the normies the one thing they asked for.
