See I think this is the issue at hand. People are judging on normal posting standards and expecting good posts. The nature of the beast is in part opinionated shit flinging, banter, and sperggery. Now that's not to say let it get too far off track, or let things run wild but there needs to be wider lanes to stay in there.

I know I'm biased and love to talk trash but in spite of this I would rather have an objective set of rules to enforce the autistic thunderdome with. Because yeah the website has a problem with spergy autists but having a simple set of rules that can be enforced rather easily from the admin down to the user would work.
I would argue 18 months is more then enough time. you should have over 1000 posts, have a rating that's high objectively to finish this.
Sounds reasonable and frankly i agree. I love to talk shit as much as the next poster, more so maybe, but objective rules and at least a decent view point split would work. frankly the spergruillea warfare tactics from either side are lame and make it less fun to post.

The idea that Articles and Happenings is the only problem part of the site is stupid.
That's the big issue I want to bring back stickers like think provoking, and awards. The problem I have is the way it's set up now you get the feeling that some left wing old fags are trying to play gay spergops with the alt right and vice versa. I don't have a permanent fix per say but a better set of simple rules that can keep Spergs quiet and those with information or something useful to say talking.

You know interthread / board ops do happen just to get screen shots to rile each other up right? I've got no problem saying some shit breaks one way or the other and some shit is largely apolitical (a lot of the proper cow threads). A&H is going to be spergier than most yeah, but frankly the moral indignation is pretty hollow when there's games over which bigger poster from either side will say what in their script just to tow the line. It fosters a combative nature and open hostility and makes the site less fun.
i always found taking screensots and posting them to the "opposing side's" threads to be kinda dumb. low-hanging fruit. of course it's fair play once it's in the supporters forum because lol poorfags.
