i had this exact thought when reading the summary of the stream. i’ll never understand people who get their ass beat in a match and starts to list off people they can beat. ian, you lost. get the fuck over it. dr. mike was the better boxer and every time you are asked or you bring it up, it’s always an excuse.
“he was cutting weight” yeah no shit, that’s what fighters do
“he doesn’t even punch that hard” and guess what, he still won
“dr mike was a bad opponent” if he was bad, what does that make you?
“dr mike doesn’t bring enough clout/eyes to the event.” if i didn’t watch almost everything on youtube, i would only know 2 fighters on that card. all the people you picked are from different areas of youtube and i would be surprised if there were any crossover fans that knew everyone.
“dr mike had 10 years of experience so of course i was going to lose” this point pisses me off more than anything that has been said about this boxing match and i’ll explain why
1. this was a fucking selling point you advertised when mike accepted your boxing offer. you knew this. you known for months leading up and prior to the match that he had a decade long experience with boxing. why are you using it as deflection now?
2. you said this was a charity event and everyone was supposed to have fun. why are you taking it so serious like you lost a title shot in the UFC?
3. you lost. poorly. for someone that is supposed to be smart and all knowing, did you not understand that when you lose, people will laugh. people will make memes and people will make fun of you. how you handle that is key. did you not see the memes of deji when he lost every boxing match he came into? at least he hasn’t killed himself yet because of the online bullying.
fucking christ, if cope was a human.
tl;dr: i’m sperging about why ians excuses are dogshit. cope cope cope
